However, when I tried to download apps from the internet I kept getting download pending. Right out of the box? Not all that user friendly as compared to a Samsung I owned that was stolen. Still can't download Slingtv app it keeps saying download pending.

The smart capabilities are nice. It did make me enter an email just to enable the smart capabilites (not for a specific account or app, just to even have the option to use them) which I was not a fan of; I have other smart tvs which did not make me do that, but overall is not too big a deal. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good priced smart tv with good resolution.
