I am in love with this TV. It's so simple to set up and import all your apps and info. the picture is great and the setup was SO wicked easy. I'm SO glad I made this purchase and from a reputable store like Best Buy. I'm not fond of the Roku set up (Just my personal preference) and with an Android TV, my Laptop, phone and all devices are synced. I am very happy with the whole process of choosing, buying, and finally picking up and setting up. Thank you TCL and Best Buy!!

Spent the afternoon setting it up, adding and logging in to installed and new Apps, and the evening using it. Thumbs up on all features so far, colors are more vibrant than on the dumb LG it is replacing. My digital aerial and its tuner worked well. But. There is no mute button on the remote. What? You say, how can that be? I found the work around. If you tell Assistant "OK Google mute", it mutes. Happy with the price, especially since it includes a built in Chromecast.

Was on the fence but needed a cheep option for my room. Needed to make sure all apps were updated via Google app store (after adding my account) and no issues. Love having chromecast builtin. I also downloaded a SNES emulator and side loaded my roms and can play my snes games natively on tv with xbox controller through Bluetooth. This tv is basically an android tablet thats a tv. Hooked up my Bluetooth speaker and movies are great. Picture is decent especially for the price.

Good picture, sound and weight, only objection is the volume controls located on side of remote are hard to use.

The main reason I bought this TV is because it has a low profile stands and fits perfectly on an existing printer desk and its affordable. I don't know why all these tv have to have stands with such large footprints. I use it mainly for playing 4k youtube videos for to work out to, but I have also used the aps such as netflix and hbo and they work fine as they should. Quality of the TV seems fine for the price point and it's very easy to set up.

There are so many incredible values in televisions these days and the TCL 40 inch Series 3 Android TV is one of them! TCL makes this tv in both an Android version and a Roku version at the same price. I went with the Android version for a few reasons: 1. I already have another TV that is Roku (which has Apple TV+) 2. Android TV has HBO Max (which Roku as of now still hasn't added) 3. My guess is that the new Google TV functionality will come to this tv to match the experience of the new ChromeCast Picture quality is great, the speakers are good, and the streaming TV options are excellent. You also have the ability to stream from laptops and phone using the casting feature found on most phones and laptops or at least in Chrome. The menu options and navigating is a little less intuitive than with the TCL Roku tv but it's not horrible and you really only need that during set up anyway. In summary, great tv, great price, and great streaming options with potential if it gets upgraded to Google TV to be awesome.

This smart tv is the best tv for a bedroom or in a space where you want a tv in, this comes with apps that is already installed in and if you have an android phone. You can connect your google account and you can continue using your account to watch Youtube videos and download apps to the tv. Heck even game apps, cause why not? For a tv like this and for its size, the price is not so bad. I recommend this awesome tv!

Picture and sound quality great I bought android version and it is amazing I recommend some improvements in the remote for buttons to navigate easily to different functions But overall it is an excellent tv what I really love is the google assistant it can take you to YouTube and other apps on the tv plus the Netflix and the YouTube button makes it easier to go to those apps I recommend buying this tv

Great starter TV for young adults room. Lightweight, easy instruction and good quality TV.

Good value TV and runs Android TV reasonably well. My comparison is a separate Shield TV that's a ferrari, but it cost more than this whole TV. TCL makes good value TVs. Hard to complain about anything at this price point. I'd make sure I let it "bake" for a while, get a system update, update all the apps, etc. When you take it out of the box it feels "sluggish" but it's fine once everything is updated.

Love this tv! The picture is great. The ease of use is great but as normal you have to get used to the remote. I’ve not used many of the apps yet because I am still in the middle of binge watching Game of Thrones... The price was great. I had purchased it to be delivered and the first one was damaged. Best Buy sent a replacement right away and also provided a prepaid return for the damaged one.

Easy set up and easy use. Overall, it fits my needs and I'm pleased with the performance, size, and resolution. I'm used to the older versions of TCL Roku TV and their simple design. This one is slightly busier but that may be the way I set it up with the commonly used apps up top. There are also some features (like sleep timer) that take a few extra clicks but still, not hard to find.

Awesome TV. I got the android version, looks amazing for this price range. Very easy to set up copied info from my phone and the tv jumped right on the wifi network and everything works great. Remote is very sensitive and works good. I read reviews about the HDMI ports being tight but mine are perfect . This really is a great little tv I got the TCL 32in android tv.

Bought two for kid's holiday presents. They absolutely love them. Quality build, easy setup, crisp bright picture, decent sound from internal speakers, enough inputs to add computer and/or gaming console and good WiFi reception (kids rooms are far from the router and works without a glitch). Also has bluetooth so they can pair their headphones to listen to audio privately.

TCL also has a Roku version that is a bit more expensive. Since Roku was not something I cared about, this one fit the bill. I'm not a person impressed with techy things. I just wanted a good Smart TV to access Netflix, Amazon Prime and to use with my Blu Ray player. This TV was easy to set up and the menu is easy to navigate, even for an old guy who isn't into gadgets.
