Good for the price, beware of missing features
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This TV has been good overall - decent picture and sound as well as picture and sound modes. Setup was simple, especially if you have a gmail/Android account - I didn't even have to type in my wifi password. Nice to connect with my streaming services without plugging in a separate streaming stick. A couple of issues prevent it from being 5*. 1) TV does NOT send 5.1 surround sound to my Onkyo receiver, discrete sound comes from my front L, Center, and R speakers, but nothing from the side speakers or the subwoofer. 2) TV can access my 2.4 Ghz wifi, but NOT my faster 5.0 Ghz wifi. 3) There is no mute button, you can only push volume down. 4) A big advertised feature was Chromecast built-in, but the TV does not always connect AND streaming videos can be very laggy. I contacted customer support about the surround sound issue. They could not help me fix it.

I would advise in-store pick-up as we had to return the one delivered from the website. Customer service on the phone, website and in-person was good from Best Buy and TCL. I purchased a headphone adapter for better speakers.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The TV is nice, however once i got home from best-buy purchasing it, once i opened the box to hook/set it up i noticed there wasn't a remote control or an instruction manual. So I'm upset cause i can't use it. And when i called the store and told them about it they wouldn't do anything. So no I'm not happy.

Also I watch the TV when no one is visiting. I can watch various stories I have missed in the past and can view current stories as well.
