Got this for the office room and we use it all the time. The picture quality isn’t as good as our top of the line led in the living room but we didn’t expect it to be. For the money these TV’s are good with Roku smart features built in we love using that fir streaming services.

Loved it in many respects. It would not show audio, or give video with the cable system changeover in our area on many channels even though it recognized they were available, even though it had the correct technology according to our cable company. We tried 2 of these, but ended up returning both. Other than that, great tv. Blame it on Zito.

This is truly a horrific TV. Maybe it's my luck, but there are more things wrong with this TV than I could have ever imagined. Let me see, where to begin? (Keep in mind, I have had this TV since september, so only 9 months old...) In my apartment, our TV is characterized as a temperamental, sensitive, easily overwhelmed creature--God help the poor soul who offends her Highness, because you won't get to watch Netflix! - you can’t skip the intro EVER, no matter what app you’re using, Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, it doesn’t matter. - The TV seems to get overwhelmed and the audio and visual will go out of sync more often than they are in sync, and the app doesn’t matter as well, it’s all of them - If we DARE fast forward or change the volume before we are at least 5 to 10 minutes in whatever show we are watching (hopefully enough time for Her Highness to get settled), either the previous audio visual errors will happen or the TV will quit out of the app entirely (sometimes going so far as to power down the TV instead of just exiting to the Home Screen!!) - The Internet connection says excellent so it is not the problem, trust me, all bars are present on the Wi-Fi. Plus, the router is hardly 6 feet away from the TV (and there's no ethernet port, I checked) - We have already factory reset the TV once, unplugged it from the wall and started over, as well as deleted any apps that we don't frequently use, leaving about ten total... - Often when the shows have to go back to a point that the TV has it ready buffered, and then in trying to go back to where it was previously either the audio or the visual will be completely off. And this cannot be fixed unless you exit out of the app and or turn off the TV altogether and MAYBE try again. This is not true for all cases though, there have been many times where we just have to stop watching whatever we wanted to because the TV will not cooperate. TL;DR We literally can’t watch shows if my TV doesn’t WANT to cooperate. I desperately want a different TV because I don't know how much longer I can tolerate this temperamental toddler of a TV. A woman carries a baby longer than I've had this TV, didn't even make it a full school year with this TV. Send Help :((

Perfect smaller tv for my daughters college dorm room! Took a bit to get the Wi-Fi to connect with all the safeguards of the university- but once she got it figured out it works great! Like the smart apps being readily accessible!

I love this TV. This is my first smart TV. I also ordered total tech. My TV was set up perfectly and the total tech member showed how to use the TV. I would definitely order another TCL ROKU TV.

Good performance Loved Roku Interface with cons

This TCL was a really nice budget friendly TV at this size. I really liked the speed and performance of the TV and really liked the ROKU interface. I never felt like I got the color and brightness right on it and from a 45 degree angle the colors were just not good. Also, I didn't realize when I was comparing this TCL to the other TCL TV's that this was the only one in the series that didn't have an ethernet port. It connects via Wi-Fi but I was too far from mine and it would intermittently drop. Not really the TV's fault. The one big problem I had with this TV and the reason I took it back was the little white remote sensor just under the TCL badge. When the TV is off it shines bright white and I swear it was like being in a nightclub in my bedroom at night. You can cover it up but then you can't turn on the TV from your bed without having to uncover it.

      Hi ZeroBurn,

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. The Standby LED on the TV can actually be turned off by going to Home>Settings>System>Power>Standby LED>Off. Given the opportunity, we could have looked into this for you and tried to help you better understand the features and settings on the TV. We hope that you reconsider us in the future! We will continue to work hard to provide our customers with the best experience and support possible. Best of luck!

      Thank you,

Tv is ok. Money was tight so i bought this instead of the 4k 43" 2 weeks ago. Have now seen this very tv for $75 and $100 less from multiple other stores. More of an issie with best buy than the tv...but still. Spend the extra however much and get the 4k 43...

Replaced our bedroom tv with this one. Nice to have a tv timer on it that will automatically shut off the tv shortly after we know we will be fully asleep. And not have to worry about having other things connected to have on all night.

Replaced a nearly new TV (same model) that my daughter broke with a marble. Not for nothing, I wouldn't recommend throwing hard glass objects at the screen. Otherwise, these are great streaming TVs. I have five of them. Highly recommend.

Needed new tv to get Disney +. Current “smart TV” was not able to connect no matter what we did. Good value for the price. HD is really good. Sound not so much.... some shows sound as if you’re listening through a tin can. But it serves the purpose. Still recommend for the price.

I bought this as a replacement TV for the breakfast nook, and it works great. No need to buy a separate Roku and have additional wires, just plug in the TV, connect to Wi-Fi and go. It's great value for money.

This is my 2nd TCL tv from the 3 series. I'm not a fiend for perfection, colors, sound, etc. If you want really rich colors, sound, etc, then pay more (as you should). I wish it did have Bluetooth for audio but other than that, can't complain for the price.
