Nice picture quality. Easy to use. Very light weight to hang.

At first I wasn't sure whether I had made a mistake buying a Roku TV and a brand with which I was not familiar. But TCL Customer Service has been really great at helping me to get all my (rather old!) components working properly and now that I have some practice regarding which buttons to push on the remote, I'm quite pleased with this TV.

This is my second Roku tv and I am planning on getting a third for the bedroom. as a non cable live tv person, ROKU gives you the experience you need without having to purchase a tv package.

I was not familiar with this brand but so far so good and no complaints. The price was on pint for the size and features. The fact that it was Ruku ready made this transition to smart TV very simple. Delivery went well and was in time which was nice with folks being stuck inside . TCL is a brand to watch for future purchases.

We bought this TV for a home office. Simple to use and we are a fan of Roku. The picture is good, but the sound quality could be better. However, the TV really just plays in the background so for this purpose the sound quality isn't terribly important. However, if you plan to use this as your main TV, I'd recommend a sound bar.

This TV has great color, brightness, contrast, I can easily read the screen. I am a fan of the Roku device / interface. Easy set-up. I bought a 32' for the bedroom and was so impressed I returned two days later and bought a 40" for my den.

Remote is VERY picky you have to have it pointing perfectly at the center. Good for a bedroom bad for a livingroom(maybe if you have a smaller living room it would be ok) I would of rather bought a non smart tv and hooked up the roku plug in

Have 2 of this model in different bedrooms. The standby light just below the screen is so bright, it disturbs people's sleep. The only other negative: the remote does not have a mute button. Really dumb.Other than that, the tv operates well. The picture is clear and crisp.

We're very pleased with our purchase. I was concerned from some reviews about wifi and OTA antenna reception. We installed the TV in a bedroom far from our router where we sometimes have poor connections on our other devices, but the wifi reception has been great so far. We were also impressed with the reception we get with our HDTV antenna. Some reviewers noted issues, but we are receiving more channels than on our other TV connected to the same attic antenna. It pulls in one channel we haven't been able to get for years, so the receiver seems to be better. We're familiar with the Roku interface and appreciate the settings to make the screen darker, for instance. We bought a stand for the TV, since the feet are too far apart for the piece of furniture we wanted it on. Mounting to the stand (similar to a wall mount) was a breeze. Sound and picture are just right for the room it's in. So far, we're very pleased with this purchase.

Brought this tv for my two boys 5 and 7 and they love it and it is so easy to navigate and picture quality is excellent and it has all the apps that any other device has that you would need to purchase separately this tv does it all defenently Purchasing one for my living room!!!!

I am very happy with this TV. I Iove the fact that it has Roku which I bought years ago for another TV . It has nice sleek look. The picture is very good considering the low price. Would definitely recommend this TV.

I had been looking to replace my 32" RCA with something a little larger, better sound and lighter. I did not expect the added value of Roku. Alas, simple LED lighting is not enough for my diminishing eye sight. What hooked me was the price and the ease of picking it up. This is a very easy machine to use.

Great tv for the price. Got this for my grandmother and she absolutely loves it. She can easily navigate through the apps and it is user friendly. Best of all, she can watch all of her favorite shows. The picture is good and the quality is great.

So far I have zero complaints! I have spent more for more famous but far inferior TV's so I am feeling pretty smart right now for taking a gamble on this. Great picture, easy setup, full connectivity for darn near anything...can't find a single criticism at this point.

We use this as an outdoor tv, the built in Roku allows us to stream Beta xfinity without a box. The tv quality is good, we weren’t trying for a real high end picture because of the price tag but rather a good picture on an affordable tv. This fits the bill!

Excellent product! Easy to setup and get running. I found an unexpected feature not mentioned in the product manual when I noticed my IPad Pro could stream music through the tv speakers, iPhone can also see the tv as a source also. Super!

We replaced a 32 inch TCL tv with this 40 inch TCL Roku tv for our bedroom. The only reason we replaced was because we cut the cord and decided to go with a smart tv. Super easy setup, user friendly interface. This is our 3rd TCL and we have not been disappointed!

Pretty easy model to set-up & operate - very much appreciated for those of us who are not all that tech-savvy. The picture is great & next, looking forward to purchasing a sound bar for enhancement of the listening experience. Still learning other aspects & short-cuts of overall operation.

My granddaughters told me I needed to upgrade. Didn't know anything about Roku, just brought this because it was a nice size and great price, so happy with purchase and I get a lot of free channels and movies even without cable.

TLDR; at bottom. We were looking to upgrade my mother-in-laws tv that she had for nearly 6 years. It was a 32” Samsung that had become super slow when trying to select streaming apps, or would need updating all throughout that day, or while we were watching anything This TCL was what we were looking for. The reviews stated it was responsive, easy to control (remote is basically a Roku remote with shortcut buttons, which is awesome for the MiL), and the video/ sound is good too. I had it out of the box and setup, with all 6 streaming apps we use, in less than 15 minutes. The sound is good and the video quality is really good as well, considering we were worried that 1080p at 40” wouldn’t be as good as 4K. All in all, really surprised by this, definitely recommend. TLDR: UI is responsive and setup is fast and easy. Video and sound quality are both good. 10/10 for our needs.
