This is my second TCL roku tv and I couldn’t he happier with it. Perfect size, lightweight and portable which is the main reason for the purchase. Now we can enjoy a nice glass of wine on our outside patio while watching a movie.

TLDR; at bottom. We were looking to upgrade my mother-in-laws tv that she had for nearly 6 years. It was a 32” Samsung that had become super slow when trying to select streaming apps, or would need updating all throughout that day, or while we were watching anything This TCL was what we were looking for. The reviews stated it was responsive, easy to control (remote is basically a Roku remote with shortcut buttons, which is awesome for the MiL), and the video/ sound is good too. I had it out of the box and setup, with all 6 streaming apps we use, in less than 15 minutes. The sound is good and the video quality is really good as well, considering we were worried that 1080p at 40” wouldn’t be as good as 4K. All in all, really surprised by this, definitely recommend. TLDR: UI is responsive and setup is fast and easy. Video and sound quality are both good. 10/10 for our needs.

It's just a TV used in a church class for displaying weekly scriptures. Light weight, easy to mount. Only thing I don't particularly like is that the .jpg goes off-screen after 10 minutes or so. Probably a fix but haven't looked into the literature yet.

This is by no means the top-of-the-line television set. It does what it's supposed to and the picture quality looks great. Contrast ratios are fine and the colors are vibrant enough. Especially for this price range you cannot go wrong.

Did not expect the TCL to have this many features. It was sized to fit into a cabinet in a 3rd bedroom. Roku and outside antenna provided as much content as possible. Price and looks outstanding. Not used as much. I have 7 TV's in my house. Would buy TCL again.

This TV is perfect for my bedroom. Fits nicely on the dresser. Great picture and sound. Easy to navigate remote control. As someone else mentioned, there is a light on the front of the TV so if you need complete darkness at night don’t put it in your bedroom.

I got this television for Mother's Day and I love it. It was very easy to program to use and it has a great picture quality. I love that I no longer need my roku stick but have it built right into the television. I would definitely recommend this product.

Was looking for a replacement TV for my parents for Christmas after theirs short circuited, and after research, found that this brand and model was perfect for their needs. Very easy to use Roku features and accessible functionality with a vivid and crisp picture. Well worth the price.

I was on the fence about buying this brand. I’m glad I did. Great picture quality and all the features are great and very affordable. I use an LG sound at and subwoofer with this so I can’t comment on sound quality but this was a great price.

Set up was easy, love the Roku without having to purchase the stick separately. Picture is great, sound is not as good as I would like, but for the price, it's fine. Speakers in the back of a TV are never as good.

NIce size tv for our son. Fits perfectly in the wall units that we have as we are limited to size restrictions because of the design. Purchased it because of the built in Roku feature. So far, no problems and the price was reasonable.

Bought this as a gift, but was unfamiliar with the brand. When I gifted it to my mom, it was extremely easy to set up and program the ROKU. It has a wonderful picture and the cost was very affordable for a 40" TV. I would purchase this item again.

I ended up returning it, but it could be fine for someone else. The wifi was sketchy and dropped a lot. and the remote had a lag that was annoying to use. but the picture and price was good.

We bought this TV for my son’s nursery. It does everything we intended to buy it for. He’s able to watch his baby shows on either Prime or Netflix. It also has the Spectrum app, unlike some of the other TVs. Great picture. Great quality. We are happy with our purchase.

Great product. Very happy with the TCL TV. You can use any other Roku TV remove with it.

The TCL television that I purchased is an excellent buy. I bought it based on a very good price and the fact that it is a ROKU TV. Having ROKU built in makes it so easy to use. I would highly recommend this to anyone. The picture is outstanding and the sound is very good.

This is a nice TV. I am a fan of Roku's and I like that this is the smart functionality that added. It can feel a little on the sluggish side. I think they need to give it more power. Picture quality is good, not great.

I bought this TV for my sister for Christmas. She had never had a flat screen tv before. Her TV was a CRT about 19 inches and she had had it for some 35 years or so. I just could not take it anymore and had to do this. I did not have that much to spend and I had purchased the 55 inch version of this television for my lanai and have been quite happy with it. I knew that she would like going from the 19 inch to the 40 inch. She absolutely loved it. She loves the simple remote and the ROKU membership/concept. My one mentionable - not really a complaint but a warning. make sure to measure the width of the surface that you are going to put this tv on - if you are NOT mounting it to a wall. the stands definitely will not work if the surface is too narrow. I am partial to the one-piece center stands, myself - no worries about surface width.

Bought this for a spare bedroom. Nice size. Sharp picture and easy set up. Great price on sale. Had to get it delivered but it arrived late due to holiday but was well packaged. No issues.

Easy set up. great streaming and works for Xfinity stream. Picture not as sharp as I'd like and side viewing is marginal but great for bedroom.. added tcl soundbar which helped sound.
