    TCL TVs Mean the Customer is SOL

    I purchased the TCL 40" Class 3-Series LED HD Smart Roku TV on June 27th, 2020, and had it delivered, and by November there was no picture. There was no damage done to the TV. TCL customer service, when furnished with pictures of the screen, said there was nothing they could do, as it was not their fault or responsibility. I do not recommend this TV at all.

    Order sent to store and not home 2 weeks late

    The staff ordered my TV and instead of sending it to my home they had it sent to the store. The package got lost in transit and stranded in Mississippi for 3 days. It ended up arriving at the store 5 days late. They said they would find a replacement and never did. They also offered us an incentive to keep us from canceling then redused to honor it when we picked up the TV.

    Dead after 2 months

    It was promising to me since I enjoy TCL products, but it ultimately died 2 months after purchase. The TV doesn't receive power from the outlet and won't turn on. The standby light no longer is lit while plugged in. I tried changing outlets, cables, remote batteries to no avail. Unfortunate, to say the least.

    Not a Good Buy, with I could return

    I hate to do this, but this television is awful. All of the apps are constantly shutting down, stalling, skipping, the vocal and picture and not in sync. And it is not the wifi as every one of these apps works perfectly on the computers.

    Technician didn't install

    Not sure how it works because the technician refused to take off the TV that was in the location where the TV was to be installed in our R V. Had to take to other mechanics who confirmed that the smaller tv could be taken off and are installing the 40 inch where we wanted the Best Buy guy to have done it a month ago.

    It worked for a while then started showing an overheating warning supposedly it was fixable but I ended up with a full refund due to manufacturers warranty. It didn’t last a year won’t buy another TCL ever really want to say NO STARS

    This is the second television. Poorly manufacture.

    This the 2nd or 3rd. Best Buy will not exchange for an upgraded television. I was put in wait line for geek squad to send back to manufacture. Manager was called and would not speak to me but advised agent to send me to geek squad that I had to wait for since I was not in the schedule. Very poor service.

    Horrible performance

    Poor quality. Save your money and invest in something better. Go $100 higher and get a decent model. It freezes, crashes, all the time. Know that I'm not a beginner user. It's the system that is very antiquated.

    Does not connect to WiFi well

    I’ve had the tv for over 1 month now first time I get a TCL tv and probably the last. It does not connect to WiFi I have 2 other smart TVs in my house and they connect just fine with great signal but with this tv it says there is no internet I have tried to reset it to see if it would work better but no.

    probably going to swap it out for another one. I love TCL roku tvs but this one doesnt work very well. has issues powing on and off and also doesnt repond with the remote successfuly all the time.

    Picture color very poor at angle. Roku is constantly not working with Xfinity on start up and need to keep power cycle. Didn’t happen to much at first but now it’s 2 times a day might be past return policy now!!!!

    We ordered sound bar, tvs, speakers, including installation. That was February. I get the delay but no install until almost July. And I was on hold for 3 hours over 2 days trying to reschedule. I think I can find better service elsewhere.
