    The picture is good but the built in speakers are very bad. If you think you can fix the sound by using a sound bar or full blown surround sound you are wrong. TCL has a audio delay problem that is well documented online. The audio is delayed so lips don't sync with sound. I wish I had known this before purchasing.

    Moved need a TV

    One star down because the wall mounting holes are the smallest by tv standards making it a bit difficult in various ways. Two stars down because roku lacks a web browser app which is ridiculous in this day age. Plus you can only connect your personal Bluetooth devices through a work around such a hassle. Why not just directly from the tv but you can connect roku Bluetooth devices from the tv very easy. Never purchasing a roku tv again. I'll probably go with a Google tv most likely by Sony maybe tlc if the price is right

    My ten year old Roku stick worked better than this TV. It freezes, audio lags, and we get booted to the home screen constantly. It does this no matter the app and our internet isn't the problem-we can stream things on multiple devices with no buffering, except with this garbage TV. Picture quality is fine, if you can get it to work. We've been watching DVDs out of frustration a lot.

    The volume is not very good, it’s on the low side. The picture isn’t great, color isn’t good even after adjustments.

    Starts to fail

    Great in the beginning worked like a charm after a year now the picture is starting to change colors at least once a week i have to reset entire tv to factory status it takes an hour and that does not include when tv apps stop working and you have to reset it again i would never reccomend this tv to anyone you can be at the end of an episode and the tv fails

    Returned TV

    This TV had a mediocre to poor quality of picture. The real thing that resulted in returning it was volumn control. The TV has only Low, Medium, High rather than a sliding volumn control like our LG. To change the volumn I had to leave the program I was watching, go to Settings and then change to one of the three volumn options. After doing this about a dozen times, I realized there was no change in volume for the same TV show. I also realized there was no change between shows on various channels. Unfortunately the TV seemed to be stuck somewhere between Low and Medium which was not loud enough to hear well in the room we had it. So back it went!

    Good TV until it isn't anymore

    Its a good TV for the price, but after about 9-10 months you will start to notice problems with streaming channels causing your TV to restart, as well as the TV losing WiFi connectivity altogether periodically. For a long term television, I would steer clear of this.

    new Live TV app update makes it unsuitable 4 elder

    I have recommended Roku TV for several years. The recent software/app updates has made the Roku TV unusable by my elderly parents. You used to be able to filter channels on the Live TV app by flagging a channel as a favorite and then displaying only the favorite channels, Now everytime you start the Live TV app it defaults to all OTA channels and all streaming channels (this is 500-1000 channels). My elderly parents can no longer find the channels they want to watch easily. I will change this review once the ability to save the favorites filter selection is restored.

    TCL Constant Buffering

    I purchased 2 TCL Roku TV's in the past year after we cut the cord & wanted to stream all of out TV. Big mistake. These TV's are constantly freezing & buffering. Multiple times every day. Problem is not wifi, my laptop & phone stream just fine without the constant buffering. Google TCL constant buffering, and you will see this is a problem lots of people have with TCL. Worthless garbage. They are inexpensive, but still too costly to dump into the landfill after just a few months, but that's probably what I will do.

    BEWARE!!! 7 days and broke.

    was delayed due to unreadable shipping label. box looked like it slid down the freeway and laid in a puddle! opened and foam on top was crushed but TV itself seemed OK. started to shut off and on by itself on 2nd day and dropped connection a lot, by the 7th day just went black! tried to contact them on E-bay completely ignored. just a waste of my time and money! bought it on 12th received it around 21st broke yesterday. I will not by ROKU product again... just buy regular smart TV and you can do same thing, maybe even more? P.S shipped from Shepherdsville,Kentucky

    Died after 1 week

    This junk crapped out on me after one week of light use. First the picture went out, then the sound quit a couple of hours later. I created an account for the sole purpose of sharing this experience and hopefully saving someone else from this inconvenience. Don't buy it.

    Piece of garbage

    Bought one and a little over year later it got stuck in a recovery mode loop and wouldnt come back out of it. Totally unusable. Called TCL and they basically told me too bad cuz it was outside of the factory warranty. Massive waste of money.

    Terrible sound volume

    I would never never recommend this tv. Its a piece of junk. The sound it terrible. Ihad tobuy a sound bar for it to be loud. If the ac or fan is on you cannot hear it, even turned up to 100 in volume. Please don't buy this tv. Itsnot worthtbe stress and time.
