I've never had a Smart TV and was happily surprised that all you have to do is plug it in!!! Works fine for me but I watch very little TV/streaming so am not a fanatic about very high quality and all the things others want. I've only had it a month and it was only \used when my niece was here, so I haven't really had it long enough to review.

Good TV. prefer other interfaces

Perfect use is with your preferred streaming stick. I prefer using it with the new Chromecast as that fits my needs. Works with both Google and Alexa Smart speakers for powering on/off and routines. That's the biggest reason I like Roku If you are primarily an Amazon/Alexa user, and you don't mind 720, I would recommend a Fire TV instead. For 1080, this looks like the best value for any platform.
