Bought this to put in our bedroom

This 40" is the perfect size for what we needed. Really didn't need a "smart tv" because we have cable, but very happy with it. Love the fact that if I download an app on one of our Roku TV's, it is on all of them. Overall, very happy with this tv.

Very Good, but....

Features are very intuitive and picture quality is good. There is a minor software glitch that roku is working on. It involves the sound "hiccuping" here and there. a simple reset and turning "off" sound settings seems to have helped while we wait until December for the new update. Otherwise 5***** for quality/value

Awesome TV for the money

It was not a Smart TV. This is a HUGE step up. I don't game or anything that requires the best and latest. All the same, this TV doesn't leave me feeling like I cheaped out, either. It's totally compatible with all my non-cable subscriptions, my iPhone, my stereo amp, etc. I am super pleased with it!

TCL Roku 40” a dual winner!

My 1st use is an incredible 40” monitor in my home office; clear picture and enlarged screen make it a pleasure to use all day. By a a flick of the remote I can utilize all the on board features of the Roku TV.

great roku tv

The 32" was just too small in the space, and going to the 40" has been a great upgrade in more ways than just the size. The remote works far better, and the TV just seems to run better. Great picture for a non-4K. And the price makes it an easy purchase.
