Purchased this TV because of built-in Roku and the reviews. Picture quality is excellent and the Roku service is great. You can easliy navigate streaming options and more with the Roku smartphone app. Highly recommend!

TCL has become a great tv. Maybe not the fanciest, top of the line, but can’t beat it for the price. Love that this has Roku built in! Plug it in, connect to internet, and go! Can’t get any more simple.

I have bought 2 of these. One for my son and his gaming, he loves it. One for my mother-in-law, who also loves it. Picture is bright and clear.

My ex-husband needed a TV for his new apartment so I got him this one to start out with. It has ROKU built in along with being smart. He can watch all of his shows. Plus we got it for $189. It was a STEAL!

Since purchasing this TV I called customer service because the remote only worked intermittently. The TV responded to every third or fourth button push. TCL customer service was very responsive and sent a new remote. It works only marginally better than the first. I then ordered a new remote from Amazon. It only works a little better than the other two. The TV was deeply discounted as it’s an older model on close out. I’ll probably keep it since I use it in the bedroom and rarely watch it anyway. I guess I got what I paid for with this TV (sigh).

This is our 5th TCL television if you count the one we bought for my parents. For the money, this is the best brand. The picture is crisp and bright. Highly recommended.

Purchased for a computer monitor at my office. It works great!! I can split programs on different sides of the monitor and not worry about which monitor things are on.

So, I've had this tv for about a week and ever since I had it, I've been having connection issues. What does that mean? Well, every single time I turn this tv on, I have to reconnect to the internet. And reconnect to the internet. And reconnect one more time to see if it sticks. Sometimes it did, sometimes it didn't. Admittedly, my internet connection is sometimes wonky (I live in a very old basement apartment), but it's always connected to my old television that had a separate Roku device attached (and to all of my other devices like my laptop, iPad, phone, etc). After a week of substandard connectivity, today I decided to attach my Roku device to this Roku tv to see if that connects. And lo and behold, it connected beautifully. No connection issues, the picture looks as it's supposed to. No lag, essentially no issues. So, two stars because this tv looks good. If you have anything less than perfect connection, though I wouldn't recommend it. Just buy a non-Roku tv and attach a separate Roku device, it'll be cheaper and way less aggravating.

Perfect for a college dorm room. It was bought as a gift and greatly appreciated. The picture is better than fine. For the price it is a better deal than most Roku TVs.

This tv is overall great in movies to gaming to connecting My phone to watch videos from there i love it!!!! Perfect fit for my room and is also very light to carry

Can’t beat the price. I own many TCL Roku TVs. This one worked in a pinch when we needed it for watching a football game outside (under a porch) while we BBQ’s.

Great tv. It was really easy to set up and it was ready to use. Downloading apps are painless and the color on the tv is awesome! Really enjoying everything about this tv. It was a great selection for our second tv.

I bought this to replace a Toshiba that was 8 years old. I've been wanting a smart tv for a while so when I saw this on sale for $179.00 I had to give it a try. Easy set up, excellent picture quality.

This is our 2nd TCL television and we love it so far! We've had our 50" TV for over a year and it's working great. We've had this one set up for about a month and it's been great right out of the box.

Out of the box and onto our shelf. Set up easy. Will add better speakers at some point, but the sound is not bad at all with out. Picture quality perfect for us. Added ads we already subscribed to easily.

The remote is slow even with fresh batteries. It has to be pressed a few times to work for all buttons. The TV occasionally goes back to home on its own and freezes in the middle of streaming. However, the picture and sound are great so I'm going to try hooking up my old roku and run it through that. If I'd kept my receipt I probably would have taken it back.

This was a gift but the recipient tells me she loves it. Gets several channels just on a digital antenna plus the Roku channels on wi-fi. I saw it and has a pretty decent picture for the price.

I am happy with my purchase. Perfect for where I am using it. The color and everything is good. Replaced a small Roku tv so chose this because it had Roku already in it.

TV fits great in its space and works great! Not much else to say. They directions said minimum 8 characters now says 50. If you don’t want to answer something on a survey it shouldn’t be required

I purchased the TCL - 40" Class 3-Series LED Full HD Smart Roku TV recently and so far everything is working as expected. It was easy to unpack and set up and the operation is very easy.
