This is rather unusual, as this new TV comes with the correct two feet with screws to secure them, a power cord, a remote, and a quick start guide. You may want to check your receipt to see if the TV you purchased is new or Open-Box/Previously Owned. For Open-Box/Previously Owned TVs, you would need to contact your retailer for assistance. Roku TV

We’ve had it for over a month and everytime we turn it on, theres no volume. Turning off the TV doesnt work. We have to unplug it and plug it back in to get the volume back. We will be returning it.

Deception

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV on Black Friday and it never arrived, because the day I had that they had to make the delivery, in the besbuy app it tells me that FedEx returned the TV, because it was damaged, I called besbuy and ok that they told me that they could not send the TV again, that I had to buy it when they gave me the credit, but as it was, I told them that one waits a year for their specials and they do not guarantee the price, for a mistake of them not guaranteeing, what may happen with their delivery

Nice extra TV

Unboxing and set up of this TV was great. It's soo light I could lift it with one hand. If you have an Amazon account, setting this tv up couldn't be easier. Everything was automatic and I spent more time waiting for the updates and app downloads. I love how this TV looks. So thin and the tiny bezels will keep it looking modern for a long time. The remotes for the TCL brand are my favorite. Thin and comfortable, all buttons where they should be. Just would have preferred white. Much easier to find. The software of the tv is very snappy and responsive. Very quick to load apps and stream shows. It's nice to have the firestick built in and not have to bother with extra hardware and several remotes. Setting up my soundbar was fast and simple. Works great with the tv. I do recommend adding a sound bar if you want bigger, more full sound. The built in TV speakers are alright but a bit lacking for my tastes. The picture is very nice and clear. I almost forgot it wasn't 4k. Nice and bright too. The backlight is even, I haven't noticed any dark or bright zones. The viewing angle of this TV is the main downside. The picture is great head on but once you start moving to the side more than 45°, it starts getting washed out. Not really a concern if you view it across from a bed or have it in a corner. A full arcticulating wall mount would also be a great option. I'm very happy with it and I would totally recommend this TCL TV.

Great for my Dining Room Area
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.In the box is the TV, the remote (black) with 2 AAA batteries, tv stands with 4 screws, quick start guide, and power cable. This particular model also came with a 90 day warranty extension flyer in which you register online. First Impression and Disclaimer - this is my second TCL television added to my household and my first FireTV. This TV was a lot lighter than expected, so I had to take extra precautions bringing it in the house. I am going to eventually mount this tv but for the current location, I am using the tv stands. The stands are pretty sturdy and I like that you use screws to attach. The TV did complete two different installs after I used the QR code to set up and it took about 10 minutes to finish. After the updates, the TV finishes with adding favorite apps for TV, Sports, etc. It gives you gaming options and other TV options and then you are on FireTV dashboard. The remote also has popular apps for easy press and go. If your favorite app is missing on the TV dashboard, you can search and download only or subscribe and download. The TV is very sharp, the colors and the contrast are very good! There are 2 HDMI ports (one ARC and one service), an AV IN adapter, a headphone jack, an Optical digital audio output, an antenna/cable in, LAN and USB 2.0 port. The ports are on the right side (close to the middle), so if you need to mount, they are somewhat easy to get to, if you have a small arm. I hooked up my Switch and the games were sharp and clear and the sound was great. (Please note, during the FireTV setup, there is an option to purchase games in which you get a 7 day trial and then pay $9.99 per month. You can also get a trial of Apple TV and a FireTV option.) Overall, I really enjoy this TV and I am pretty sure I will update some of my older model TVs with this particular model because it’s super light, easy to mount and super easy to navigate. I would highly recommend this product to friends and family and I definitely see myself purchasing again.

Overall not the best choice

The picture quality was a little disappointing with it being QLED. Also it was difficult to get all of my apps working. I had to restart the TV 3 times

Beautiful clear “small” budget TV

I have multiple 4K TVs of various brands and sizes in our house and this one so far, but needed a smaller one to replace a 15-year-old 32”. This thin-framed 40” was much lighter and fit in the same space on the same wall mount (but looks so much bigger!). Setting it up, the built-in FireTV interface was very snappy and easy to set up. Really, out of the box I thought it was pretty well set for the lighting in my room and space. Very sharp and responsive! After the system updates app downloads to test out, YouTube TV looked perfect and fluid on all channels. Amazon Prime, Netflix and Max as well. Since my prior 32” had been using a Roku stick, I installed that stick onto this TV as well just for continuity. But having the built in FireTV as well is a great and handy option. My least favorite thing I guess is the remote, but I programmed my Roku remote to power it on and off and control volume. So no differences for my family to use this TV, other than it looks way better on the wall! Fantastic value for this right-sized TV and I look forward to using it for years!
