Had to buy new HDMI cable (old one didn't work). Still have to use both TV remote & Spectrum remote. Picture could be sharper.

Not Impressed

It drops Wi-Fi so often which I've never had a problem in my home. Unfortunately, I came on the Best Buy website one day too late, after the return cut off, to begin the return process. So I'm stuck with this.

As someone who has enjoyed several TCL televisions over the years, I had high hopes for this QLED model. However, if you're tempted to buy it based solely on price, I'd strongly encourage you to invest a little extra in a 4K TV instead. While the colors are vibrant, the overall picture and sound quality leave much to be desired. I've also encountered significant video stuttering on YouTube and various apps when streaming in 1080p. Given that I own other TCL models that cost me less and perform far more smoothly, it's clear that this one doesn’t hold up to the brand’s usual standards. Save yourself the frustration and consider a better option!

Too much buffering on start up

The new one was also 40” - has a lot of fancy features, but only has 1 HDMI port. The 2016 version had more.

Worst TV ever!

It forces you to use Google play, which doesn’t recognize streaming services purchased from any other platform. It doesn’t have a microphone on the remote, despite that being referred to in description and “support center.” It’s been 4 months of pure frustration. Someone needs to give me a refund.

Ringing sound while OFF

Sleep timer is buried in the menu, no quick buttons. No backlight on remote. There is a constant ringing from the tv while powered off. Not many options for a 40 inch tv. The pioneer one i got first had a bad screen while streaming. Aggravating.
