    returned this product and went back to insignia product instead. this is very thick (sticks out the wall quite a bit) and feels much flimsier

    Audio cuts off and needs a full restart to fix. Then sometimes when off the audio of a movie is still playing

    Needed a guest room smart TV, and 4K would not appear any different or better than this 1080. The Fire TV is fast, has adequate sound and 2 HDMI ports are all that are required. 5 star performance and price. Probably could serve as a main TV for a small room. 4K is overated, and most streaming services do not provide 4k anayway

    Very good picture and its light weight make it easy to move. As with many flar screen tvs, the sound quality is just okay. That is most noticeable when watching sports.

    Good little tv. Bright colors. Menu loads fast. It is in my son's bedroom so not a main tv. Sound is great for what he is doing. Has hooked his gaming laptop to it a couple of times and has worked well. Only complaint, and I have seen it mentioned before, the white standby light under the TCL logo is quite bright for the bedroom. I have a different TCL with a light around the power button and it isn't a problem in my room. There is not an option to turn it off in the menu although when googling it people have the option in their menu??? So tried covering with black electrical tape but then that blocked the remote receiver so could not even power the tv on. Would take back and get a different tv but purchased on black friday and there are no deals that come close to that price right now. So it's not worth an additional $50-70 to me to return and replace. Good tv though and would recommend.

    Great for the price - but you get what you pay for

    TCL is a decent budget brand of Smart TV great for anyone who needs a basic set with no extra dongles/sticks/plugins - unfortunately as every TCL model does they do not have the greatest in processing power so menu slowdown is a thing (on some models and OS's more than others from the same brand) and some applications taken from the Amazon Fire Store will flat out refuse to work due to there not being enough oomph in the chip. On the picture quality, it's exactly what you pay for for a sub-$250 TV. It's also only listed 1080p so don't expect the most crystal clear images you've ever seen. Too Long, Didn't Read? You get what you pay for, it's awesome if you only need a TV and plan on using the pre-installed apps. Amazon's OS kinda sucks. Panel and image are good, setup is fast.

    Never shuts off

    TV has great picture and sound quality, very easy to set up, and connect to the Internet without any issues. The reason it gets three stars is because this TV does not actually shut off. If you try to power it down it just goes into an idling mode. The only way to actually shut this TV office to unplug it. This makes me kind of uneasy, does that mean Amazon is constantly listening to me through my idling TV? Also for an energy efficient device, why is it constantly running?
