Never shuts off
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV has great picture and sound quality, very easy to set up, and connect to the Internet without any issues. The reason it gets three stars is because this TV does not actually shut off. If you try to power it down it just goes into an idling mode. The only way to actually shut this TV office to unplug it. This makes me kind of uneasy, does that mean Amazon is constantly listening to me through my idling TV? Also for an energy efficient device, why is it constantly running?

Best $100 tv you can get.

The black backgrounds don't look good but at this price point I don't expect them to. The picture is otherwise crisp with excellent color reproduction. The sound is adequate and I'm glad TCL is finally selling Fire TV. Roku doesn't do Amazon Prime or Youtube anymore. One of the threaded holes for the wall mount was bad. Had to chase it out with a tap to get the screw in. Great tv for our daughter to take to college. Not sure if I would pay full price for it though.
