    Beautiful TV for a great price. I bought this TV as a gift for my friend's mom and the clarity on this is great. I was Very surprised I will say. We watched a few YouTube videos on it and ran smoothly.

  • Great price, operating system, size, but slow

    It was a steal for the price and size. Really enjoyed watching the games and movies. I thorougly enjoy the menu screen options and apps but it is beyond slow. it takes mintues to load and navigate which makes it an awful experience. I think it's the TCL chip not running properly. If you don't mind the delay and get this cheap, great for hosting. But this is annoying for everyday use.

    Great quality TV. I have it on my outside porch and it works perfectly. Very nice picture quality, audio isnt that great, so i will be getting a sound bar.

    Great picture, but the sound is terrible...you'll want to use a soundbar or something else. Also, one REALLY annoying thing is that every time you turn on the TV, it defaults to the homepage. Since I use this to watch DirecTV most of the time, I have to go to settings and choose HDMI1 input every time I turn on the TV. I contacted TCL tech support and they told me this could not be changed. So, great picture, lousy audio, and always defaults to the homepage. For the price, I can't really complain.

    I purchased the TCL 40 inch Led full HD smart tv with Google tv. I just unboxed it. the price was good. The picture is fine. The time & ease to set it up is easier than the Hisense google tv. however, even though I set it up through the remote. it says to go to Google account to change settings & permissions. the Hisense let you do that directly from the remote on the TV. remote has less buttons than the tiny manual says. buy there is a live agent for support. He said TCL does not offer a larger on-line manual. Don't know if I will keep it. My 10 year old non- smart insignia had better sound . the worst tv sound quality I have ever heard. I do not know if this a defective tv. but I think it is out of stock now.
