Not 40 Inches, but still a great product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, this product is great however it’s not a 40 inch TV if you measure it it’s 35 inches. It doesn’t bother me enough to return it or take it back and it serves all the purposes it was meant to do. Overall 4/5.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is my 3rd TCL TV and first Google, the others are Roku and I should've stuck with that. Two months in, and now it randomly goes to a flashing black screen requiring me to pull the plug and reset each time. Also, the Google interface requires too many menu layers to get to basic features like Sleep timer and Brightness. Never again. Google is just so far from competent at anything. When it works, the picture is pretty good, but the sound is awful and really requires you get a soundbar

TCL or Bust!!

You get what you pay for
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.For the price, I cant complain too much. When watching cable tv, the picture is pretty poor. Within the first week, I had issues with turning the TV on. I would press the power button, but it wouldnt turn on. When I finally got it on, there was a serious lag, so I had to unplug the TV, plug it back in so the system could reboot. The fact that I had to do this within the first week does not give me much hope that this TV will last very long. I guess you get what you pay for.

Its Ok

If you leave you TV on 24/7 the boot time while turning TV on shouldnt be an issue. Not sure i would purchase another one. I had high hopes as my 75" TCL works flawlessly.

Worst tv I have ever had

It is a tv in my bedroom and I never watch tv there because it won’t play any apps at all. It literally just doesn’t work. It closes out the app and shuts off the tv on its own. Or it’s frozen or will start playing but then no sounds it’s literally a waste of money and I bout it for more since it was a few years back. Still don’t spend you money on this

This particular TV was launched less than 3 year ago, so it is difficult to decipher what TV you may have. Our TVs do come with a 1-year manufacturer's warranty for those rare times that defects occur. In cases like this, if you purchased an extended warranty, you may want to reach out to see if you can file a warranty claim through the extended warranty company. Furthermore, if you purchased using a credit card, some credit card companies also provide additional coverage. We will continue to make improvements to ensure our customers the best experience possible.

Worst TV purchase ever!!!

I have spent hours on the phone over the last 2 weeks because my TV will not find my replacement remote provided by TCL Electronics. Then a warranty claim was started. I’ve had to call everyday for an update, no one has contacted or emailed me first. Then to be told finally, my warranty claim was approved. But wait….. my TV model is not in stock. So now I need to wait 30 days for a refund check. Unacceptable customer service and warranty policy for PAYING customers. My TV lasted only 7 months. Worst quality ever. I’ve never had a TV just stop working ever in my life. Never buy TCL!!! I’m warning you!!! Zero ⭐️’s for this TV “brand”. Seems like a scam honestly
