    Overall, this product is great however it’s not a 40 inch TV if you measure it it’s 35 inches. It doesn’t bother me enough to return it or take it back and it serves all the purposes it was meant to do. Overall 4/5.

    This is my 3rd TCL TV and first Google, the others are Roku and I should've stuck with that. Two months in, and now it randomly goes to a flashing black screen requiring me to pull the plug and reset each time. Also, the Google interface requires too many menu layers to get to basic features like Sleep timer and Brightness. Never again. Google is just so far from competent at anything. When it works, the picture is pretty good, but the sound is awful and really requires you get a soundbar

    It’s a very good TV so far I will try to do another review later on when it’s been used a lot I did buy a universal remote the remote that came with it wasn’t user friendly This is 2nd TCL I have purchased because the TV is a good TV

    Slow response to button pushing and boot time. If you leave you TV on 24/7 the boot time while turning TV on shouldnt be an issue. Not sure i would purchase another one. I had high hopes as my 75" TCL works flawlessly.

    For the price, I cant complain too much. When watching cable tv, the picture is pretty poor. Within the first week, I had issues with turning the TV on. I would press the power button, but it wouldnt turn on. When I finally got it on, there was a serious lag, so I had to unplug the TV, plug it back in so the system could reboot. The fact that I had to do this within the first week does not give me much hope that this TV will last very long. I guess you get what you pay for.
