    The TCL has the bells and whistles with an Android TV but I'm disappointed with the response time. It takes an unusually long time to either power up or switch between apps. The picture is crisp but that's expected for a new smart TV. For the price, it is adequate, provided it lasts a couple years.

    I never write negative reviews, but this TV has been nothing but a problem since we got it. It restarts itself on average every 20 minutes. I keep getting errors that the TV is out of storage even though I don't use it for anything other than Hulu. It recognizes the remote's buttons being pushed completely randomly. The volume goes way up and way down when you hit the button once. Just awful.

    I put this TV on my back porch. For the price, it’s a solid TV to watch some sports or tv shows/movies. Picture is decent, 43” won’t show that it isn’t 4K. UI is a little slow but is expected for the price. Wifi works well enough to stream YouTubeTV, Netflix, Disney+ without buffering. Screen has a little reflection being outside but does a good job of keeping glare down as long as not in direct sunlight. Overall, this is a great secondary TV for minimal price.

    doesn’t have enough space to have more than 3 apps and will run slow or not at all due to needing an update. Updates will not install because the updates need more storage than what the tv comes with.

    Brought this as a Christmas present for my parents, since they don't have a smart TV. They love it. You can watch Netflix and all the other apps from this TV. If I could change anything, I think I would have brought the 50 inch.

    Bought this unit in 2020. Great TV but! For some reason the TV is stuck on one channel and he remote is unable to change channels. Unfortunately, there isn't a manual way to select Air antenna channels other than using the remote. Contacted customer support and after going through all the resets with them, I was told to order a new remote, well that was a waste of money because I still have the same issue. All the other remote functions work. The TV simply is stuck on the one channel and want change.

    Good tv for the price. Perfect for bedrooms. Only thing I noticed was that it disconnects from the Wi-Fi sometimes and the remote has a slow response sometimes also.

    I prefer TCL to most televisions however this remote for the Android TV is too small to work with and it doesn't support Roku so I have to use a separate remote when I want to see what's on Roku TV

    This TV is terrible. Bought new and immediately had problems out of the box. There was a significant lag and it’s very glitchy. When you push volume up or down it takes several seconds before that registers with the TV and then goes way up or down. After about two weeks the sound randomly stopped working despite turning it off and on several times. Eventually turned back on after unplugging it. When you turn the TV off and back on the screen will turn on and you can see the backlighting but no picture before it turns back off. This happened several times before it will turn back on. Also I will be in one app watching a show and it will automatically exit into another app. Save yourself the time and money and don’t buy this TV.

    For a year I bought it last year on Black Friday and all I can say is it’s a decent TV. However, I didn’t really know it was gonna be a smart TV. I actually did not want a smart TV but it will do for now like I said, it’s not bad, I just don’t care for smart TV type of stuff because I can use my game console to stream stuff.

    Do not waste your money

    Had this TV for a year. It suddenly decided it needed a software update and has not worked since. It will get to the set up screen then power down and reboot. This happens over and over and over again.
