Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.our first TCL Roku was larger Series 5, so this smaller Series 4 was really easy to setup. good wi-fi connection, all our subscription apps and local antenna channels work fine. not surprised that the screen has same limited viewing angle as the larger TV, but the picture quality is better than expected and sound quality is so good won't even need a soundbar for music apps. also shipped quite carefully by UPS. If any problems arise over time will update review.

On one hand it does freeze every once in a while. It is really easy to set up and very easy to navigate. The tv can also be controlled by using the Roku app incase the remote does get lost. There is also a very large variety of apps available for download. The tv is also very customizable from the background to the noises it makes when a button is pressed on the remote. Overall an amazing purchase and highly recommended.

Great TV at first, doesn’t last long

Reviews backed that up mostly and price was very fair. After only about 2 and a half months, a black screen appeared so all we had was audio. Lots of reset options online that apparently cure this black screen but not for this particular one. It does seem to be a pretty common problem I wish I knew about before buying. Will be looking at a more reliable brand in the future even if the cost is more.

This one seemed like the best value for a TV that checked all of those boxes. After using it for 3 weeks, I can confirm that it works well for all of those uses and I have no regrets purchasing this TV. I would say, though, if you don't need 4K you can save quite a bit of money with a 1080P panel.

I love the Roku operating system that makes streaming from any content provider simple to use. After my first Roki it has become the only type of TV I will consider. The TCL model has an excellent picture and does everything I could expect from a TV; especially since it has one of the lowest price points that Best Buy offers.
