TV was defective less than twenty-four hours after purchase. Red vertical line developed on right side of screen starting from the top. See attached photo. Registered product with TCL and sent support request. Will also contact Best Buy about either replacement / exchange, or refund.
Was easy to install and set up. Picture and sound quality so far appears to be better than the ten year old Vizio TV we had prior.

This was a terrible purchase (for me anyways) I had decided to go with this tv because it was relatively cheap and I’ve read lots of positives. However I have not even been able to set it up properly cuz for some reason the smart platform “can’t seem to reach my email” even though I know I’ve entered it correctly and have been stuck on this same screen now for 2 hours I was wanting a plug and play experience but instead I’ve had two hours of trying to get it set up properly and will more than likely return it to the store for a more reliable brand.

This tv cuts out in the middle of a show and then when it comes back on I have missed the part the was circling. This tv I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.and when comes back on I miss the park that I was watching. I can’t watch one show the hole way though.

This tv is awful! It isn’t the dumbest of smart TVs. We bought this tv to watch College football on our deck. We haven’t been able to yet. We can get the different channels on our TVs inside but not on this one! It is the hanging tv.

Don't buy or at least get the protection plan. I bought this tv as a gift for my son. After having it for a month the tv now has a yellow line straight from top to bottom making it nearly impossible to enjoy.

So far it's ok, about what I'd expect for the price I guess. Setup was relatively easy (when you're used to Apple stuff, having to type in a secure password is a pain), like the Roku tv aspect, we've been able to ditch our AppleTV.
Picture seems good when straight on, but has a very narrow optimum viewing angle, and gets flat and bright to the sides. Also haven't figured out how to get to advanced picture settings, or even if I can. Everything seems automatic, which I'm not crazy about.

This is our second TCL tv because we love everything about it. The picture quality is exceptional, the price is unbelievable, and if you stream like we do it is so easy to use. Perfect size for bedroom, family room or office. This size does not overpower the room but gives you an excellent quality picture. It is light weight which makes it easy to move to another room without any help. Just take out of the box, add the feet if you aren't putting it on the wall and plug it in. Happy watching!!

This TV is great. Setup is a breeze, the size is perfect for the room, it’s not heavy so mounting it is easy and once you find the setting to turn off the annoying light it’s perfect for a master bedroom. The only issue I have with TCL is the protective tape they put around the frame that overlaps onto the screen for packaging. I’ve bought 2 from them and both times I was worried I’d ruin the screen as I took it off but in the end it worked out fine.

I love my new TCL 43 in 4K TV. The color is fantastic with a flat digital over the air antenna. Easy to set up Looks great in my log cabin in the woods of Vermont. The price was very reasonable and the quality is as good as the Sony Bravia it replaced. I couldn’t be more pleased. Ordered last Monday received the next day. Thank you Best Buy. This is my first TCL television and I couldn't be happier. Love the Roku interface. It has every app I use, including NBC Sports Gold. I can also use the Roku app on my phone for voice commands. Great picture, great price. It's lightweight, so I can easily carry it to my porch for watching sports outside.
