This is my first 4k tv and I'm enjoying it. Setup was very easy and the picture is excellent. I wasn't looking to spend a lot, and I'm very happy with this. The Roku interface is easy to use and the step up from 1080P is very worthwhile. The speakers are about what you'd expect - I use a pair of BOSE computer monitors plugged into the headphone jack and that's all I need. I was able to use my existing wall-mount and since this only weighs 15 lbs I was able to get it all set up by myself. OK, I have one gripe. Why can't manufacturers spend $.50 and send the VESA mounting bolts with the tv? I had to run out and get those, but luckily they tell you exactly what you need (M6, 12mm I believe). Anyway - great TV. This is my second TCL and the 48" 1080P I bought about 5 years ago is still going strong.

This is a great buy for bedroom or kids room. It fits on my dresser. With Roku built in, I have all my apps in one place without having to down load, most are preloaded.

The TCL TV is an excellent value especially if you are new to ROKU, because it helps you learn the process. The only drawback for me, was I already had 3 ROKU devices and I didn't need another one. So I had to adjust. The picture is great, but you have to go into the settings to make sure you get what you want. The preset for picture quality is "low energy" and you don't want that. Experiment with the other settings to make the picture more vibrant. It makes a huge difference. Good product, good price, and perfect size for my living room. Buying this tv was the right decision for me. BTW, some people say the remote is glitchy, but if you're used to the smaller size of a ROKU remote, it's no problem!

Easy Peasy When Cutting The Cord

Good TV for the price. We made the decision to cut the cord this year. This is our first smart TV because all the TVs we bought in the past still work really well and seem to live forever. After thorough research, we decided on the TCL. Instead of having to buy a separate flash stick or another box, I thought for $220, I would try a Roku TV. We've only had the TV for one month but everything seems very easy to use. I would have given it 5 stars but the vividness of the TV is not the best (you get what you pay for) but you can adjust the picture with the picture adjustments. We may buy another to put in another room in a few months. May update after this review after a year.

We had lived on satellite internet and streaming notable. As friends said" watch this" I opted to see what's available. ROKU unknown but price and size and weight seemed great. ( weight lifting into mount needs help). Learning to use the screen tricky, mounting devices easy. My wife, who condemned me early, now handles the remote easily. So far impressedwiththescreen, color, response. Only issue, never received receipt for online purchase andnavigatingthe web site impossible the TCL helper solved a problem early on with panache. AnLED light on the wall would have awakened me. I have not been able to get the real manual.

A great little TV for the price. We upgraded an older 35" TV that wasn't a smart tv for this one, and we are very pleased with the picture and delighted with the price. The first one was damaged, the LED array was cracked in several places, but the outside of the TV and Box looked fine. We took it back to Best Buy, and they exchanged it without any problem. Setup was easy, and the TV received wifi with no problem. It saw other wifi networks several houses down the street, so the receiver must work pretty well. A good buy for the price, and a better version and less expensive than the one I almost bought at another Big Box store.

After a year and a half, the first picture on one of the TVs stopped working, but the second one is still functioning properly. I specifically chose these TVs because I wanted to be able to control them using the ROKU app. Additionally, having multiple TVs in my Media Room allows each of my kids to watch something of their choice using their headphones and phone.

We were replacing an 11-year old plasma screen in our basement that my son uses for his games. This TV had some of the newer specs he'd asked for to make his experience a bit better and he absolutely loves the upgrade. This is our 4th TCL Roku TV (I bought 3 for my business) and always an easy set-up and we've had zero problems with them. Also, much lighter than that old plasma TV!

Best TV ever! I always recommend it to my friends. I love how I can connect to my phone & watch movies through my phone that would not be in any other app. I love all the apps you can download on it. I just love it!! Highly recommend. It also lets you put up brightness, change your sound settings, & it has a timer. So if you want to fall asleep while listening to music it turns off by itself after (ex. 1 hour).

Well priced. Easy to assemble- only 4 screws for the feet if you aren't using a wall mount. Setup was easy to follow. All you need to do is connect to your network via ethernet or wi-fi and the software does the rest. Roku OS allows you to choose what channels you want. Streaming, picture and sound set up are flexible. Great value, great picture.

Love this TV. Amazingly low price, easy to use and excellent picture. I bought this as a TV for the workout room along with an inexpensive sound bar and couldn't be happier. I find myself spending more time working out as I watch a movie. I would definitely purchase again. In fact, I probably will probably pick one up for the bedroom.

This is a very good TV it has a great picture, but it is kind of cheaply made to me the TV is very light for some reason and the remote doesn't look like it will hold it but I am guessing this cuts down costs and such. I love roku and how easy it is to use, you can connect apple products with airplay which is also a plus

I had previously purchased a much larger TCL Roku TV a year or so back so already knew what I was getting into with the purchase of this 43" Class 4 series 4K UHD Smart Roku TV. This TCL tv is absolutely a great buy for the money spent. The picture quality is as you would expect purchasing a 4K tv....phenominal. The simplicity of the Roku OS makes it smooth sailing getting the apps you need, organized and ready to go for your tv viewing. It is super easy to set up. Another fantastic thing is the Roku TV app for your smart phone/device. If I have others in the room and I can't hear the tv, instead of jacking the volume up, I can use the Roku TV app on my phone, and listen to what I'm playing on my tv through my headphones. That is such an awesome feature. The Best Buy store in my town were also incredibly friendly and helpful. When I walked into the store, I knew this exact model that I wanted to purchase. They took me right to it. They even allowed me (after purchase) inspect the screen out of the box to confirm that the screen had not been damaged which I really appreciated.

We got the 43" 4 series for our guest room and it was an awesome choice. By my count I've owned 10 flat screen tvs from just about every brand over the course of 15 years and this has to be the best dollar value I've ever gotten. The 4k picture is great. The Roku interface is snappy. All for $259. Can't beat it for a kids room or guest room or just someone looking for cheap 4k. So keep that price in mind. This TV wouldn't be a good centerpiece display. The hdr doesn't compare to the tcl 6 series in the master bedroom. And it doesn't have the wow factor of the sony x900h in our basement. But those TV's weren't $250 either. But for what it is, this is an excellent TV. Definitely would recommend.
