    Super light big screen 4K tv that's not much heavier than a laptop. Great picture. Its refresh rate is OK to use for an extended display for video conferencing.

    Pros: The picture quality is fine, voice search works well, the overall experience is that of a starter-level smart TV. Minor cons: App loading time can be slow at times, sound quality is not the best. Major con: The reason why I would not recommend this item is that this TV has an error where it will randomly reset to the home screen and then get caught in a reset loop which can only be broken by turning the system off or unplugging. I have owned this unit for nearly nine months and have had to deal with this bug several times. It has ruined the experience. (This issue has happened before and after software updates.) Overall recommendation: Do not buy. Find a different entry-level smart TV.

    Bought TV in November of 2022. TV backlight went out in March of 2024. TV didn’t even last 18 months.

    I've bought several TCL Roku TVs and have been very happy with them. My store didn't have the Roku version of this one, but the Google TV version was on sale for $250, and since it was just for the bedroom, I figured I'd give it a try. After a couple of days I found the Roku version at a different store and took this one back. Nothing was user-friendly about the Google TV interface or remote. The interface is cluttered like the FireTV with lots of ads and suggestions, and the apps-only option had its own problems. Unlike the Roku, the remote had too many buttons for comfortable bedroom in the dark use. TCL says they want to offer customers options and see Roku and Google as the primary competitors. Get the Roku even if you have to pay a bit more.

    This is a review for a wonderful 43 inch class for TCL smart Google TV- brilliant picture, wonderful volume, elegant sleek screen and design. Remote very easy to operate, I only wish it was larger and not easy to lose!

    The quality of this tv is really good. The image is really sharp. The only downside is that you have to wait around 1 Hour the first time you plug it in order to download updates. Google OS is way better than Rokus TVs

    Great quality. And easy to set up. I thought it would be difficult to set up and I would have to create an account or something. But all I had to do was enter my wifi password connect to my wifi and that was it.

    What a great upgrade to my old TV. The colors are so much better than my old TV that was only 1080p. I love the way everything in integrates once I log in and set up my account with Google TV.

    Nice tv. Good backlight. Kids broke it 3 days into owning it so that sucked. It was hit on screen lightly although screens not meant to be hit. I feel it shouldn’t of broke as easy but oh well.

    Good price, good size, nice picture, terrible audio. Also I was sold on the idea that I would be getting a subscription to Apple TV that I haven't received any details about how to sign up and I can't make contact with any of support options.

    This is a deeply frustrating TV. The menus lag, apps crash constantly, sometimes it gets stuck on screensaver mode and won't respond to any inputs. Sometimes apps won't play any sound, even though all the settings are fine. Half the time it "remembers" what I was watching/doing when it was turned off, and half the time it just goes to the home screen. The quality of the picture and sound are fine, but on god, GETTING to the show/video I want to watch is an ordeal every time. Before this, I had a TCL roku tv that worked great for years and years, so I don't know what happened here!!

    Good tv but hdr is grey and dull and takes detail away from the picture. Tv Use to restart itself randomly while playing games, hasn’t done it in a while tho but picture is good and a good price

    Nice TV. Better than I expected. No defect found

    So far So good. I worried it a lot because of 1 star reviews here but nothing actually happened to me. Screen is perfect, No lagging, No frozen. Little bit annoying thing is sometimes (like once a day) TV ask me to join TCL TV (like Ads) which I don't want to. Sound, not great but in a small room, perfect. Considering sound bar for later but totally good for now. Installation was easy and smooth (took little time tho) I will update review in 1-2 months to let you guys know if this TV can maintain it's performance same after some time. (for that, I purchased 2 year warranty with best buy which was $ 40. Anyway, I am enjoying it. Perfect size and quality for my room. No complain at all.
