I am not happy with it sometimes it won't come on sometimes when it does come on it has no volume sometimes when I'm watching Hulu it just automatically goes back to the homepage. I have to unplug it sometimes

I do notice, however, small glitches but nothing major. For e.g., when using apps like Sling it may take two attempts to get them to work. This does not bother me.

broke down after 15 months

Was working fine until one day it powered on to a black screen. Tried all kinds of troubleshooting with no result. Unfortunately nothing can be done since this happened 15 mos after it was purchased.

Our TVs do come with a 1-year manufacturer's warranty for those rare times that defects occur. In cases like this, if you purchased an extended warranty, you may want to reach out to see if you can file a warranty claim through the extended warranty company. Furthermore, if you purchased using a credit card, some credit card companies also provide additional coverage. The input lag was pretty bad, too, though I didn't try all the settings. I bought a different brand the next day and the setup experience (and lag) was much better. It was also cumbersome to set up initially because it requires you to log in to Google, but I couldn't use my Google Home app to do it. It also requires you to log in to TCL, which seems odd.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So I posted this their Facebook page yesterday but instead of the company contacting me to resolve the issue- they just removed the post. So here it is again – I have a 43 inch Roku smart TCL TV that suddenly went black on Friday. I called customer support on Sunday, after an hour doing all the trouble shooting (that I had already done via their website) I was told that it was a software problem and someone would get back in touch with me. After waiting a few days I called back on Wednesday and was told that they were working on a solution. Here is a solution – repair the TV and if you cannot (which it seems you cannot) replace it as you warranty says ( it is still under . I am a disabled veteran and I use this as a monitor for my security system. I have a 55 inch TCL that I have no problems with, that is why I went with TCL but maybe it is time for a different brand!

Ok Chromecast TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Plex doesn’t work with the app(2-3fps or 3x speed up), and twitch was spotty(screen was cut off until I pulled the plug to reboot). Steam link had a 1-2s network delay. The only thing this is good for is being a glorified chromecast device. And it does well there. Plex over chromecast works well!, and so did other apps. I would definitely recommend the Roku version of this tv instead of this one, specifically if you want a remote control experience. If you are ok casting all the time, then this tv is likely better for you.

4 series not powerful enough for GoogleTV
