  • Good for 21 Months. Then POOF its lights out!

    It was a fine TV. Work as advertised. And then one day POOF the picture is gone. Lights out as it turns back into a pumpkin. Ca;; to TCL customer service were taken, and they considered it, but in the end there was nothing they would since it was past warranty. Certainly they aren't obligated, but for good faith and to keep a customer they might have. They really said that we should be pleased that we got this much use of it. It's lasted this long! So, if you want to take your chances, or only need your TV to last a year or so before tossing it, this may be the TV for you.

    I read a lot of reviews before buying a TV and it seemed like there was at least one problem with each TV I came across! I ended up buying this TV because it is a great price, reputable brand, recently released, and for its Google OS. I have zero regrets with this TV. The picture is excellent, no lag, loud sound, and I appreciate the voice search feature. Also the curbside pickup was fast and easy.

    This tv is not supported by Spectrum App which is a bummer. I really feel like returning it but I can’t because I just had shoulder surgery and can’t lift.

    I like my roku tv better than Google tv. It's convenient if you have Google for certain things but to just look at regular tv it's not the best.

    The TCL 4 series is one of the best budget 4k TVs out there. Picture quality is very good (at this price point). I got this TV in both a 43" and a 50". It is offered in both Roku or Android/ Google operating systems. I went with Google being an android user and I prefer that interface and its capabilities. If you prefer something simple and easy I would recommend the Roku version.

    Good tv and good picture. Just wish google and AT&T would have the app for Directv stream. There are work arounds but they are frustrating
