I lost a family member to covid. So it's been tough right after I ordered the TV almost couldn't afford it but price did work out. I can't believe how quick it was delivered for first time ordering online that was great experience. Thank you best buy looking forward to doing mire business with you... I'll be ordering a ps4 controller soon..

We originally had the intention of purchasing a 50" 1080p Insignia TV. The person at the store had said that TCL was a good brand and, that this TV would give us a better deal because the other TV we had thought about buying was the same price but wasn't 4K. When we got this home the assembly was pretty simple, just use the 4 screws provided to attach the stands to the TV. When we powered it on for the first time it took several minutes to power up witch is understandable because its new and its the first time we were using it. The setup process was absolutely terrible, it took me an hour to go through all of it. Once we had completed it I had noticed that the built in Roku system was really unresponsive and slow, every single time we turn the TV on we have to wait for several minutes while the system initializes. The remote has to be pointed square at the TV in order for it to work, its really frustrating because on our old TV the remote could be pointed any direction and it would still work. Frankly, I don't even notice the difference in 4K vs 1080p. I will be taking this back and buying the insignia instead.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. In order to allow the TV to have a quicker time in turning on you can actually enable 'Fast TV start'. This can be found by going to Home>Settings>System>Power>Fast TV start>enable. Additionally, you may want to make sure that nothing is blocking the IR sensor on the TV that is located along the bottom center under the Brand logo. Furthermore, in addition to the remote that comes with the TV, you can download the free Roku mobile app on your Smartphone or tablet to use as a remote. Through the Roku mobile app, you gain access to power toggle, volume toggle, private listening, voice search, and more. Hope this helps!
