    I spent a lot of time reading reviews and trying to decide which TV to get. I decided on the TCL LED 4 Series 2160p. My daughter on the first day made a comment on the sound, I didn't pay much attention, but after a few days, noticeable when I would walk in the room or stand in certain areas, I was able to notice sound was off. Since I had an old TV prior, I had not noticed. I was going to order a sound bar, but then I decided to not since a good sound bar would be ridiculous. I returned this and got a Samsung TV and boy, what a difference. It was only a $50 different, which is how much a cheap sound bar is. Pay the extra few bucks to get a Samsung, this TV is not what you want.

    Had to get a new TV within a month of purchasing this. Other than problems with the screen changing colors when it turns off and on the picture is great but if you buy this buy a protection plan

    Roku TV's are great, I have them for my kids rooms, I have 2 but one of them I couldn't get the wifi to work. Luckily it is in the room with my router so I just used a cable. All in all for the money well worth it.

    wont stay connected to network

    This TV will not stay connected to the wifi network. Every time it powers off, it cannot find the network when it powers back on. I am forced to do a hard reset, erasing ALL of my apps, logins, etc, search for a new network, do the software update AGAIN, log back in, rinse, repeat EVERY DAY! I am going to return it to the store for a refund. TERRIBLE product.

    This TV is really bad, but it's also really cheap, so what they heck. The onboard Roku system is very slow. The remote fells a bit like a Tonka toy, but less sturdy. I just plugged in a Fire TV and that made it usable.

    Very good but wish there were more settings for refresh rate and stuff, also mine didn’t come with little legs for some reason so I had to buy an entire stand thing and that was lame

You can access the Options menu on the TV by pressing the asterisk (*) button on your remote while watching content. Additionally, you can access expert picture settings by downloading the free Roku mobile app on a smartphone or tablet. The Roku mobile app works as a remote and allows you to access additional features like voice search, private listening, expert picture settings, and more. Hope this helps & happy viewing!

    I would never buy TCL brand tv again. Constantly have to unplug it and re plug in to get it to work correctly. Undependable

    Great smart features such the Xfinity cable app. I had another one that was a 55” screen go out and I had to buy a new tv. Hope this one lasts.

    O’kay TV for the price. However, I’m still trying to figure out how to integrate Directv and Roku since I don’t have any prior experience with Roku.

Many Universal and cable box remotes can be programmed to control certain features on the TV. You can visit https://support.tclusa.com/tv-remote-codes for more information. Additionally, you can program the TV to power on directly to your cable box. To do this, you would go to Home>Settings>System>Power>Power on>Select the input you would like your TV to power on to.     well I like this tv is great but you have to make a account of roku and have internet access to have the full functionality of the tv...

      Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. In order to use the smart features of this TCL Roku TV, you would need to complete the guided setup. This includes connecting to the Internet via WiFi or Ethernet, creating a Roku account (completely free), and activating the TV (completely free). However, if you just want to use this TV as a traditional TV by connecting external devices through the various inputs and not use the smart features, you can elect to not connect this TV to the Internet at startup. You will still have access to all of the inputs and features of a traditional TV. Hope this helps!

    After owning a Sharp Roku TV, an Insignia Roku TV, and now this - I am so disappointed. This TV lags, the remote lags and freezes up. The TV freezes and restarts. This has happened multiple times and I've owned it like one month.
