    This TV has a MAJOR ISSUE!!!!! It gets stuck in a recovery mode loop that makes your TV UNUSABLE! You will literally spend so much time trying to reset the TV, that it will make you want to punch it. Just skip this product... I beg of you... please skip this TV

    Bought as a gift for my parents, and was only informed today that my mom's side works (the apps) but my dad refuses to work with technology and needs the cable box hooked up. The cable audio comes out as robotic and is unuseable. This has happened since day one.

    was nice for 4months. Now no sound and since I didn't buy the extended warranty I'm out of luck. Can't tell you how dissapointed I am and will not shop here again.

    Hdmi port doesn't work

    i bought this TV about a month ago. Right out of the box it didn't work correctly. Cable tech came to hook cable up. He couldn't get picture to stop bouncing. So can't use HDMI port, has to be a different port.

    TV was broken

    When I got home with this TV the screen was cracked and the TV would not work. The amazing team at Best Buy gave me a refund.

    i HAVE HAD THIS tv FOR A MONTH

    Yesterday I turned it on to a red screen. It is working now but I am concerned that obviously this is a sign of things to come. I will call Geek Squad and see what they say.

    Never purchasing open box again. TV has no sound, even the 3.5mm jack was removed. Assuming this was a display or some wierdo who returned it removed it.

    This junk! The day I got it it broke. So fail that a potato chip has more strength. Called up tech support sorry can’t help you. The end. Total garbage and waste.

    The TV is barely 37 inches. My old tv which is almost double in size fits perfectly in the box. Rip off.

      Hello,

      Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. In order to use the smart features of this TV, you would need to complete the guided setup. This includes connecting to the Internet via WiFi, creating a Roku account (completely free), and activating the TV (completely free). However, if you just want to use this TV as a traditional TV by connecting external devices through the various inputs and not use the smart features, you can elect to not connect this TV to the Internet at startup. You will still have access to all of the inputs and features of a traditional TV. Hope this helps!
