the TV is very easy to use and I like the feature set for the price. However, even though the TV is 4k HDR, the colors aren't as vivid and don't pop like my other TV. Also, overall the picture seems a bit washed out in the lighter areas seem generally too light and there isn't a clean distinction of different colors. I like the tv for the price, just don't expect to compare with a good name brand.

This is my third (and smallest) TCL television, and I equally pleased with this 43" model. To get 4K and HDR at this price point is amazing. Even though this falls in TCL's "4 series", the picture quality is excellent. The Roku integration on the TCLs is well done and up to date. I continue to be a fan of this brand.

This TV has been splendid. The image looks amazing, even when watching shows that are only in 480p. There is a tiny bit of banding on lower quality media, however the most discerning issue is that when mounted, there will be a off-white running down the middle of the TV when presented on a grey or lighter colored background. When removing off of the mount and have it standing up, the bar disappears.

Movies and video games look great, having a roku unit built in works great

Needed a tv for the workout room and wanted a decent tv without spending a lot of money. For a little more money you could get this 4K one over some other 1080p ones. The truth is it's a 260 some odd dollar 4k tv and the picture is not going to look like a 7 - $800 4k tv, but certainly good enough for a second tv for a room that will only be viewed when occupied and not a main viewing room.

We purchased this specifically because it was Roku Ready. It was the easiest set up I have ever done on a TV. Just follow the prompts and presto...in about 5 min you are done. Would definitely recommend this TV or this brand for that matter. MD

I noticed that when I first started the TCL TV was set to 'low power' in the TV settings, which gave a dark color and grainy video quality. However, I then put the setting to normal. Though this is a 4K TV, it is at the beginning of where 4K video quality begins, the video quality is a little grainy, even in 'normal' power mode. For the money however, it is a good buy.

Works great, roku is amazing, picture quality of anything from 720p/1080i all the way up to 4k looks superb. Only gripes: tv is able to detect and display hdr signals, but let's be honest, it cannot even come close to achieving high dynamic range in colors/brightness. Also, roku doesn't seem to have a web browser available (Firefox is an unfinished app on roku, it simply does not work)

I purchased this TV as a gift and it has been a good purchase. Set up was easy and performance has been very good. A close examination will reveal that there is some motion blur in action scenes and sports games; however, many people would likely not notice it very much, especially if they are replacing an older TV. Overall, this is a very good TV for the price.

the only thing great about this tv is the price. sound is weak. (ok if you add speakers) Picture is great, from a very narrow field. even with upgraded remote from DISH it still requires two remotes to operate. ( drove the DISH tech assistants crazy )
