Nice features, good picture. Roku is a great feature.

I'm not a huge tv fan and refuse to pay for multiple channels on cable that I'll never watch. Bought this tv on sale and it's been great, fast easy set up with all the apps I use. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because one time it shut down for a few seconds then came back on. Great tv at a great price!

While this television has a relatively decent picture it has many poorly thought out 'features?' The sound you get from this thing(unaided) is so ridiculously bad that it was (maybe is) enough to return it. I honestly have to concentrate intently just to understand normal speech. These people may have saved a few dollars per and installed the cheapest, crappiest speakers they could, figuring that 'everybody' uses a soundbar anyway, well bite me. Also the brilliant idea of designing the remote to be so small that you lose it if you shift positions while watching also costs in extra effort to access normal rc functions. I haven't yet decided whether to return it or not but I am very disappointed.

Perfect for smaller setup where cable not setup. No box needed, just setup Roku and Logins for apps and good to go. Was able to pair up Roku remote from stand alone Roku which has headphone plug for late night viewing when others are sleeping. No lag on any channel.

We recently switched over to using Hulu Live as a TV provider over DirecTV and wanted a TV that could do that. I have been a Roku user since the 2XS came out and wanted to try a TV with roku built in. So far this TV has been working well and way to use.

TV has several accessible applications on main menu. TV antenna hook up worked very will for local channels and Sling TV option allowed us to cut the cord. The remote works unbelievably well. This would be a good starter TV or an outdoor patio or garage TV for the price.

I did a lot of research on this before buying. I checked out the Linus Tech Tips video called "Why is everyone buying this TV?" and that was enough for me. I am so happy with this unit and you will be too if you want a quality TV for a person or family on a budget.

Easy set up, perfect size and A Very clear picture

For the price of under $300 this TV has been great. Were there TVs with a better picture? Yes, but for the price this was just what I needed. Pairs nicely via Bluetooth to mobile devices. Apps allow for log in to various accounts for easy viewing of movies and TV series.

Excellent pic quality, fastest loading speed of all our ROKU devices! We have 2 ROKU TVs and two other TVs with ROKU sticks and this TCL is by far the fastest loading of the bunch! We primarily watch Xfinity Beta streaming and it loads well and looks outstanding.

My TV died and I needed a new one. This one is actually 43 in, not 42 1/2. Since it's a Smart TV there is no need to remember inputs or switch inputs. Everything shows up on the home screen along with all my Roku channels. The picture and sound are both great.

I was unsure about purchasing this TV, but after all of the good reviews I read I decided to give it a shot. I was not disappointed as this TV is awesome for the price. This is currently being used aim our guest room and gives the most bang for your buck.

Excellent TV, especially for the price and given that it includes the Roku Smart TV system. I purchased this for my parents bedroom to replace a 32” LED. I’ve owned many of the top of the line brand named TV’s and for the price, you can’t go wrong with this TV!

For the price you can't beat a 4K with HDR Roku TV. This was a good purchase that is still working 3 years later. Sure, it isn't as crisp as Samsung or Sony, but it is good enough for watching TV and streaming. I would purchase another if ever needed.

Roku TV has very easy to use UI. It is a 4K TV. Viewing angle is sort of narrow - means you lost contrast as you move from left to right. Price is reasonable for the value. I think improvement needed for the remote - volume, mute buttons are on the side, mute can be easily trigger accidentally if not careful

TV plays very nicely with sharp picture and very nice color. I have also taken advantage of the Roku feature which works very well and gives me even more choices of programming. 4 not 5 stars due to glare that comes off of screen when I have either the lights on in the room or have my plantation shutters open.

Accessibility to 4K could have been easier, because most of the content is not in 4K. If you're putting this TV in a room with poor wifi connection, good luck. Other than that, it's pretty easy to use and set up, although it does take a while. I'm not sure what's so smart about it, though.

Ok, the ONLY reason I am giving this 4 instead of 5 stars is because the light at the bottom of the TV is constantly on! And I hate the fact that it is bright ALL THE TIME! But seriously, other than that petty reason, the picture and sound are impecable! Amazing quality! No other complaints at all!

Overall the TV is great, especially for the price. I find that there are too many steps to get to Roku or back to your cable. The picture is very clear and the sound is fine. It all comes down to price for me as this was purchased for a guest room and won't get a lot of use.

I waited years to get a new TV. Didn’t have one in my room for quite some time. I purchased TCL Roku tv and I’m so happy with my purchase. Perfect for bedroom or guest room. Never bought a TCL but I have had it for about a month and enjoy it.
