TCL 5 series packs in some serious value for money with picture quality and features that rival sets that are twice the price. The only downside is that the Roku interface can be challenging to dial in customized picture settings. Nonetheless, the picture looks great out of the box so this tuning isnt strictly necessary.

I'm loving it. Made my Xbox gaming 10x better than the old Sharp LCD I had before it. Took just about every bit of lag I was having away. Really dont even know what the optimized picture looks like on it. I only bought it for a gaming monitor. I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a budget gaming monitor. Dont think you get better than this unless you put out around double the $ I paid for it.

The picture is beautiful, and seems very color accurate with nice and bright whites, and dark blacks. I can't believe that this only costed by 350 dollars, if I wouldn't have known the price I would have guessed it costed more than twice as much. Definitely worth the money.

This TV is not the top of the line, but if you don't have the money to spend on a Samsung with the same features, this one is great. Setup was easy, the remote is easy to use, and the built in apps are more than enough for my needs. No complaints - a great bargain!

After doing a lot of research and going to see many TVs in the store, I decided to buy this one. This is my first 4K TV and I am not as happy as I was supposed to be. It is true that in some angles the image is not clear and old youtube videos look bad. On the other hand, UHD and 4K videos look amazing. Anyway, I think it is good but could be better. Not sure if I would buy it again or recommend to a friend

TV is perfect size for bedrook with easy to use Roku setup

Best picture quality you can get for the price! This is my second TCL And I can’t complain about much. The only downside is the brightness isn’t that great. If you try to watch a movie in a bright room it’s tough to watch.. and blacks aren’t the greatest either but again it’s a $200 4K tv so you can’t complain much.

The VA screen is more uniform compared to IPS and blacks are less grey. You do give up viewing angle, but for me this is for a bedroom. So it's not a problem. Having used a Roku and stream TV, the remote was very intuitive. The only problem is the flicker I get occasionally in the main menu. It goes away when I run a channel.

Tcl tv is great to buy at low cost with all the latest functionality such as smart tv, 4k ultra hd screen, it also includes roku tv which makes youth easy to access online streaming procducts like sling tv, netflix, hbo, etc. I hope it lasts long because as a student a donot want to waste money on new tv in near future.
