No Bluetooth connectivity

I was fortunate for the size because it is an inch shy of being hit by the door. I recently discovered this model does not have Bluetooth connectivity. To connect wireless speakers and headphones to the TV, it is through the satellite’s Bluetooth connectivity. So when using the Smart TV features, the tv’s speaker has to be enabled.

Absolutely Love

I love the Roku design, it makes it so easy to switch between apps and even cable; I will never go back to a generic “smart tv”. The only reason I did not give five stars is because the TV seems to get really warm which never happened with the older model that I had.

Disappointing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Already had several Roku Ultra devices so was attracted by idea of Roku built into a TV. Unfortunately this TV does not offer the same experience as a real Roku. The remote is noisy and clicks loudly and harshly. Network speed seems to be limited to about 35 Mbps wireless or hardwired whereas I can get 100+ Mbps with a Roku Ultra in the same room. TCL support said that 35 Mbps is all I need for streaming, which is true. Unfortunately scrolling through movies on Netflix or HBO is quite sluggish. Angle of view is very narrow as expected for a cheap TV. LED light at the front of the TV is extremely bright so I covered it with black electrical tape. Ultimately I kept the TV, but bought a Roku Ultra. I reset the TV to function as a dumb TV, without its Roku functions, and have it go directly to the Roku Ultra HDMI input when powered up.

An external Roku device is a bit different than a Roku incorporated into a TV. However, our TVs typically provide a similar experience, and receives continual updates like the traditional Roku devices. Our TVs also provide quick navigation, high refresh rate, low lag, and dedicated game mode for gaming. By having the Roku device incorporated into the TV it allows an addition HDMI to be open for other devices to connect to. There is not a limitation on Internet speeds, so it is unclear why this is happening. Additionally, you can turn off the menu sound by going to Home>Settings>Audio>Menu Volume>OFF.
