I have bought it for my son. He is using it for both gaming and streaming monitor. It is pretty good for movies etc. but not live sports such as soccer.

You can definitely tell a difference with the 5-series versus the 4-series. This TV is the 5-series and have found it plays video games well with no lag.

Got rid of a cable box and am streaming on this tv - trying to get used to it but change is good and cheaper!

The TV does exactly what I want it to do and I am more than surprised with how far the TCL brand has come along.

Great tv to watch before I go to bed at night! Roku tv is something I should have bought a long time ago.

I bought this TV Jan 2019 to use as a computer monitor. Work great. I left it (and my computer) on all the time and just let the screen saver kick in. 18 months later we move house. I decide to use this as a TV and the Roku features until all of the furniture we ordered came in ( because of Covid most of the furniture was back ordered 3 months). Tv works fine for about a month, then I find when I turn it on some sections of the screen are black. I email TCL and they recommend a factory reset. This works and I'm back in business for a few days. Then I have similar problems (either half the screen is blank or the whole screen comes on normal for a few seconds then goes very dim). I find that if I immediately turn the tv off and then on again it comes up fine the 2nd time. So I do this for a week or two and then I dont use it for a week. Now it comes up with half the screen black and no amount of resetting or power toggling will make it work. Internet research shows backlight issues are a common problem with TCLs. I plan on getting a 75 inch tv once my TV furniture comes in (next week!) and you can be darn sure the new tv won't be a TCL.

Awesome budget TV! Works great for gaming too. Highly recommend this to anyone!

This would not allow me to hook up a sound bar or to my stereo home theater receiver without buying an additional decoder box. Then that only worked for about a week and now I cannot get any sound at all when streaming off the net. I see this is an endemic problem with this companies flat screens and this is a major problem with them. They have no fix for this problem, so if you are buying this to stream off the net, DO NOT GET IT!!!

For the price, I am impressed. Works great for streaming without the hassle and expense of cable.

It is a really good TV for the money. It was a gift for my daughter and her family. She really likes it!

No wires for tv programming. Just connect to wifi and the app selection is great (as good as my xbox1).

We replaced our TV in the bedroom with this TV and so far we're pleasantly surprised with this brand as I've never owned a TLC product before.

Overall good value. There is some motion blur and picture quality for football games doesn’t compare to Sony. Good secondary tv for a bedroom.

This TCL TV has great quality. The built in ROKU is the best smart TV platform on the market.

Needed to replace an 8 year old LCD, this was a good replacement option. Image quality is good, and the built in roku OS is a nice add.
