It's a very thin tv on the top, but gets very thick on the bottom, and it didn't work well with the mount I had purchased. There is also kind of halo bright strip across the top of the tv. Will probably keep it though. I've had other TCL tv's that are larger and are much better.

Not bad for the price but what I don’t like about it is that you almost have to be watching it from straight on or you lose picture quality QUICK!

I just got it delivered yesterday and spent the whole evening testing it. I currently own a Samsung Full HD 32" TV. So, that's my reference when comparing ++++Pros: Price obviously. Roku Tv. Dolby Vision & HDR. But, not noticeable difference between them Youtube(HDR) & Netflix(Dolby Vision) native apps are working great. Tv supports Dolby Atmos. Thinner than expected. Thin bezels Game mode 2 HDMI ports + 1 HDMI with ARC Displays logo on top right if content is HDR or Dolby Vision Image brighter than previous TCL 43S405 ----Cons For some reason i can get Prime Video only in Full HD(1080p). I am not sure if it's an issue in the app which might get fixed in future or Amazon uses different HDR technology which TCL doesn't support at all. Though speakers are good enough for my bedroom, I am not sure if they are loud enough for living room No Bass at all. Even in high bass setting Except "Picture Mode: Movie" all other modes looks VERY HIGHLY saturated while watching low Resolution content 480p(SD) or 720p(HD) my old Samsung was considerably better looking. Might be an issue with upscaling "Dynamic Contrast" option in settings feels like a Gimmick Verdict : Still gonna keep it just for price, Dolby Vision & Atmos support Recommendation: Get a sound bar(preferably with Atmos support ) along with this. Ask me if u want ant other info

Glad you’re enjoying the TV! You should know that with Amazon, they offer numerous titles in both HDR and Dolby Vision. You must scroll to the specific catagory of 4k and HDR rows. If you select the title in the wrong row, you’ll get the standard 1080p version. Hope that helps, TCL USA Support

for a value tv that is rated so high- I was very surprised by the amount of light bleeding across the bottom corners of the screen. The vizio displays do a much better job. will be returning this display.

+ All 3 HDMI ports support 4K w/ HDR. + HDMI Port 3 has ARC support. + 10 bit panel (No color banding, excellent reproduction) + Low Latency with no ghosting. + HDR & Dolby Vision Support. + No dead/stuck pixels and no backlight bleeding. (This impressed me the most) + Roku OS built in. There is no other TV OS that's even close at the moment. - Off-Axis viewing will result in color shifting. (For example, Orange will become Yellow) - Roku OS is not as smooth as it should be. When navigating menus it lags behind and isn't as responsive as my Roku Streaming Stick. - Similar to last years model, You will need to change your "HDMI Mode" to HDMI 2.0 to enable HDR on your gaming consoles/PC. By now, this should've been fixed. It should be automatic. - Remote is IR, not WiFI Direct. Direct line of sight is required. - Without proper testing equipment, I would guess the max brightness to be 300-350 nits. So your HDR experience will suffer. - No Local Dimming. While I can understand this Panel not having 96 zones like the new 6-series will, It would've been nice for at least 10? - You will have to turn the TV upside down to install the feet. Vizio has a much better implementation that they should've copied. - 60hz Panel with "Clear Motion Index" making this "120hz effective." At least the soap opera effect isn't noticeable to me. If it was, I would've returned it immediately. I know that's a lot of dislikes, but I am not blinded by the fact this TV is only $350. If you're really an HDR snob, wait for the 6-series, it will be released May 1st. If great color and 4k resolution is most important, this is a must buy. It's crazy just how good bargain base TV's are these days.

AVOID. Internet Connection Failed In Just Over A Y

The TVs internet connection gave up after a year of ownership just outside the warranty. This is a problem a lot of people have experienced and renders the TV useless. It's not possible to find any internet connections 90% of the time and when you can the connection lasts minutes before the problem starts again. I won't buy another TCL Roku product ever again. Both Best Buy and TCL refused to provide an alternative product.

Completely disgusted. The TV worked great, and then it didn't work at all. 2 years and 3 months of use, then dead as a door nail. There was no storm, not electric blip and nothing else that you could attribute to the issue. Talked with TCL customer service who advised that we should have been unplugging the TV when not in use. Every time we turned it off. Right.

Screen goes black after 2 years

This TV lasted exactly 2 years and then the screen would go black every 10 mins or so. The only way to get the tv to come back on would be to unplug the power cord and plug back in, but nobody wants to do that every 10 mins. Only comes with a 1 year manufacture warranty, so if you buy this TV it’s best to also buy the extended 5 year warranty plan bc you will need it.

This is my first 4k tv. I was very impressed with the picture quality. Great colors and very little motion blur. Only noticed blur on lower quality video. HD and 4K look great. No soap opera effect. The HDR is good. I can see a difference in colors and clarity, especially when playing enhanced games on the PS4 and streaming. I am very pleased with my purchase, also for $350 you can not match this tv. Compared to other tv with the same features at double the price this is a steal...

Best choose for light PC and Console gaming

If you are looking for a TV/Monitor for Media consumption and light gaming, don't look forward! You get the best bang for the buck with this TV. My choose fallen on this TV since I was looking for a budget monitor that could manage Netflix in 4K and HDR/Dolby Vision as well as any other HDR videos. At this moment all the monitors in the market that offer HDR support are way too expensive and perhaps don't even work that well, I tried quite a few. At some point I took in consideration TVs and I found multiple good reviews of TCLs so I decided to give it a try. I honestly couldn't be happier; great price, great quality and almost zero compromises when compared to a monitor, which most of the time were missing of something. I'm very happy with this product and I strongly recommend it to anybody looking for a PC/Console monitor for light gaming and Media consumption.
