    Well the picture quality on this television set is okay I have been frustrated with the lack of responsiveness of the remote compared to my Roku stick and I have on numerous occasions have to unplug the TV for 10 seconds and plug it back in so it would connect with my Wi-Fi. All my other devices had no problems staying connected to Wi-Fi are connecting to so there is definitely a glitch with this television set.

    This tv is very glitchy. TCL blames it on Google (which I doubt because my other Google TVs function properly). Wasted money to buy this one. When it's not cutting out (requiring a restart),the picture is great.

    Great tv for the money. Ours sits in a sun room and is exposed to temps as low as 40 and highs in the 90s. No issues.

    the setup is deceptive in that you cannot back out of a selection. I did not mean to select the Google TV option but once I did I could not go back. I called the TCL help number and the admitted that once selected you can not change the system you want to use.

You cannot "select" a different operating system. If you factory reset the TV, you can elect to use the TV in "basic mode" as opposed to utilizing it as a smart TV.     It was good until the wi-fi stopped working after a year of service. Fortunately we're covered under Best Buy protection. I decided to switch brands for the TV as our last TCL had the same problem.
