Disabled People Not Noticed, or Cameras don't lie
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dec. 27, 2023 l'm very dissatisfied with how Tyler, the supervisor handled my situation. | Purchased a larger television online and requested it be delivered the next day; however, since I was I returning a smaller tv, I decided to change the new tv to be immediately picked up by me. I called the store and advised I'd be picking the tv up instead and was told I could still pick it up. Two problems: I successfully returned the smaller tv, which after checking my receipts have noticed they shorted me $4, which I will call to find out why in the morning. Second, The store manger on duty, Tyler, informed me AFTER their store was closed, that I would have to pick my tv up the next morning after I'd been waiting for over an hour. I explained that I have a disability and wouldn't have waited there that long, so I refused to leave, because the TV was paid for, and it wasn't my fault they were playing and running around in chaos in the store and FORGOT about me. My TV was clearly sitting in the pickup area, as an employee had already brought it out for me to get. He decided it was good to call the police, because I refused to leave until he gave me my tv which was paid for. I explained multiple times that I wouldn't have been waiting in the store for over an hour, if he would have simply apologized and told me that he made a mistake by NOT checking on why i was still waiting in their store BEFORE and during their closing. I was able to video most of the interaction to help prove they closed down without completing the tv transfer process to me, but Tyler insisted that I stop recording; so I wasn't able to record the part with him calling the police on me when he clearly wasn't doing his job. My video shows I wasn't ever irate (I stopped recording). Love shopping at Best Buy and have spent a lot of money shopping; I've NEVER had an issue with an employee but in my opinion Tyler, definitely is not a good representation of the quality customer service I'm used to receiving. So, I now I am forced to either waste my gas's and go back to the store to pick up my tv, risk changing it back to be delivered, which could be chaotic again, or cancel to get my money back and buy the tv somewhere else. I will be requesting that Best Buy corporate watch their video of the entire time I was in the store, so they can see exactly what happened.

Even then it's laggy because of wifi connection.

Lasted only 2 years

Our TVs do come with a 1-year manufacturer's warranty for those rare times that defects occur. In cases like this, if you purchased an extended warranty, you may want to reach out to see if you can file a warranty claim through the extended warranty company. Furthermore, if you purchased using a credit card, some credit card companies also provide additional coverage.
