    Honestly I'm a little disappointed in this unit. It doesn't really do the job I expected. I had a window uit with less BTU's but decided to go witih this because of the mobility. The window unit was much better.

    Has to be emptied almost every day and its a total pain to drain the water.. It takes two people and a bowl and two towels. It quits running until it is emptied. It cools fast but my old AC only needed the water emptied once a summer. It had a much larger container and was easy to access

Our ACs are carefully designed and engineered to give our customers years of comfort. We take great measures to ensure that the ACs we send out are in great working condition. Our portable ACs are designed to be self-evaporating, meaning most condensation is automatically reused and expelled through the exhaust system. However, in very humid environments, the unit may collect more water than it can evaporate. In that case, a drain tube may be needed for continuous drainage. If there is frequent water buildup, or if the unit indicates the tank is full, we recommend connecting the drain hose.
