I own a 32" TCL Roku TV and like it. With a 49' listed for a great price I decided to take a shot. There were things I liked about and a few I didn't. First, it's a great price. Second, I love only using 1 remote for TV and Roku. Third, image quality was fairly good with some tweaking. Now for the bad. I must've gotten a lemon because sometimes when you power it on, it would go to the menu immediately and freeze, just lock up. I gave it 5 minutes and it was still locked up. The remote would not even turn it off. Finally, I unplugged it and plugged it back in. Without touching the remote it entered a lengthy reboot and finally got to the menu and worked fine. After about 3 or 4 times of having to do this (didn't happen every time) I'd had enough. Second thing I didn't like. I know it is not a premium tv but walking even 20 degrees off center and the image became very washed out. People sitting on the couch had a great picture. People sitting on our recliners 5 feet from the couch saw a washed out mess. I returned it. Would I recommend it? I don't know. I think I got a bad one and just didn't want to take the chance on getting another. For a budget tv, it's not bad.

Really loving this TV. We were looking for a semi-budget TV with good reviews and this one really fit the bill. We're loving that it's a smart TV and the Roku OS is phenomenal.

Great TV for the price. Use in bedroom and really enjoy it. Picture is clean looking. The HDR is meh, but for TV in $200's you are not going to get much in NIT's to show that off. Roku being built in is best part of TV to me. Really like Roku look and setup - very easy to use, navigate and find content.

Quality was amazing, tv worked fine. Only issue was you had to manually switch it to individual HDMI outlet every single time you turned it on. You have no idea how old that gets if you’re only ever on the same one all the time

I bought this to replace an old Vizio that died. Overall I'm pleased with the TV. Images are crisp and clear and Roku is super easy to navigate which my wife loves. The thing I love most about this TV is the private listening function. I use it fairly often after my wife has gone to bed. There is a slight delay in the audio but its not terrible. Overall its a really good TV. No major complaints.

At first I didn't like it , until I realized it was my fault, the picture didn't look as cleared as I had liked ..at least until I stuck a blue ray in and then realized it was the angle that I was viewing it from and wow , the picture is great and the price cant be beat, the company is still new, so cant wait to see what time has to say, but on a budget or not give this company a try , for the money it is worth it, should give the big guys a run and keep them on their toes , oh did I mention the ROKU.. !

We wanted a tv that featured the roku built in as our old roku broke. So glad we got this tv. Great looking picture, easy to update, perfect size. (49") and awesome price.

Bought a 50" TCL 4 series 2 yrs ago. Didn't expect much when I purchased it but it's been really surprising. Too good for the price. Bought soundbar this yr n just noticed the 2017 tv has Hdmi Arc connection! The black levels aren't great but overall it is very good: has good sound, easy interface, okayish performance on dark scenes.

I love the new Smart 4K TCL TV as it has Roku built into it. The color is amazing and very bright. The TV is very lightweight and comes with 2 stands. All around great TV.

This was purchased as a raffle prize for our company function so I do not have any comments on the functionality, but I chose this after researching various TV models. To meet our budget, this was the best balance of quality and cost. The 4K display on the floor model was brighter than the Insignia. It even rivaled some well known brands such as Sharp and Toshiba that cost significantly more. For the size, it makes a great 2nd TV, or great for PS4 and XBOX ONE X that support 4K resolution.

I got this on sale and the quality is much better than I expected. I also have a bigger samsung mu7000, which is a much better picture, but it cost 3x what this one did

For the money while this tv was on sale, to me it was too hard to pass up. I use it for my kids room, it's perfect for streaming, easy set up, easy to use. I wouldn't recommend it for your main viewing area of your house.

the tv performs quite well for this price range, however, the blacks and reds are washed out IMO. when I look at my sony then the TCL their is a world of difference in picture quality. I purchased 2 of these 1 for bedroom and 1 for a backroom and they are plenty fine for that , the built in roku is a nice feature to me. my daughters boyfriend says it looks and performs well for gaming. Bottom line, nice secondary tv but, wouldn't want for main tv plan on a soundbar too.

What a great TV. Picture quality is superb and refresh rate is great, no motion blur. Set aside the new name worries.

Pretty good quality tv for the price. Offers you almost the same features as the really high end models for a lot less money.

Excellent TV so far. Screen resolution is very good, set-up was easy, and the built-in Roku is easy to use. All in all, a great value at an affordable price.
