The tv is great. Picture is perfect and I like the setup for the most part. My only issue (and it's a small one) is that when you turn on the tv, you come to a main screen where you can choose from satellite/cable, netflix, hulu, prime, etc. You have to have the manufacturer's remote to choose satellite/cable. So, you have to have 2 remotes to watch tv. But, as I said, it is only a small issue and once you are watching tv, everything is great.

This was a great buy on sale and given it has a 120 processor. Great picture and fast for console gaming. Also 4K and HDR. Needs to be adjusted out of the box but great picture. Sound run through an amplifier so cannot comment on sound. Best Buy has the same TV but level higher at 5 series combined with xbox one S console for 200 off the TV. Incredible deal.

This tv is incredible for the price. I have a sony 50 x850d and this tv is right there with it. And for gaming this tv is one of the best. HDR isn't the best but for the money u can't beat this tv.

Recommended by Best Buy employee and was actually bigger than the 4K tv I was originally interested in with a better price. Great picture! Love it!

This is our second TCL TV with Roku built-in, and we love this TV just like our other one. Setup was very easy, and operating it is very simple as well. The picture quality is outstanding (especially at such a reasonable price!) I would not hesitate recommending a TCL television to my friends and family. You won't go wrong with this TV.

We've had the new TCL HDTV a couple of weeks and found the picture to be great and sound to be good, certainly good enough for the small room it is in. The price was very good, too. The TV is sensitive to the DirecTV signal, requiring the TCL remote to be used to resize the screen to keep the picture filling the screen. This only takes a couple of seconds, so it isn't a big deal, and it usually only occurs when first turning on the TCL TV.

TVs arrived sooner than expected! Very happy with my purchase as I shopped around for similar TVs and in the end Best Buy had the best deal. I would recommend this TV and the price can’t be beat!

Replacing same size plasma with 4k smart tv. Decided to upgrade TV instead of just buying a seperate roku to stream . Overall the picture and sound is pretty darn good. Only downside is it has a really small remote that does not illuminate so when watching TV in a dark room its clumsy to use. Also in dark scenes the black contrasts could be a little richer but all in all for a 49" smart TV for under $300 it's a solid choice.

I did a bunch of research on the best bang for the buck tv. Bought this because I was having company and needed something for them. I have a much more expensive tv in the house to compare against. Low latency gaming is nice too. I have been using the TCL a lot it's honestly good enough for the tv/gaming I do. It's missing RCA outputs, remote is small and not the most powerful. If you are not a tv snob it's a, best buy..

I bought this for my 83 year old Mother and she loves how she can look up so many things on YouTube and listen to music on Pandora..ect. The picture is crystal clear and I like all the option the smart tv provides. I can download the roku app on my phone or tablet and control the tv from another room. The speakers are ok so I will be adding a sound bar.

Quick and easy set up. Good picture. Decent volume on it's own, without a soundbar. The remote is tiny and simple, without a number pad. Once you master the shortcuts, like press left for the guide, navigation becomes easier. Also sorting and sifting through all the available streaming channels can be daunting because most aren't great. It also has live TV recording capabilities sans cable with a USB stick.

This is my first Smart TV, and I haven't been disappointed. Picture and sound are great. Using online content has worked wonderfully. I have a wired connection because my TV sits close to my ethernet port, so I've had no trouble with signal loss or buffering issues.

Great everyday price. Super easy set up and wonderful picture. Will buy another one for bedroom! Great TV. Don’t be afraid to get this TV.

Surprisingly great picture for the cost. Very easy to setup with my existing Roku account which is why I picked this TV over some of the others. My only complaint is that you can't directly input TV channels when watching over the air content. You can only scroll through all the channels or use the channel guide to pick the channel you want to watch.

I did some research on the this brand Tcl, which is fairly new, and I took the chance on it. I am very happy with the quality. No issues.

Quality of the picture displayed on the screen is good. The menu needs improvement. Wifi connection is good. The remote works only in direct view of the receiver point on the lower side of the tv. Never heard of this tv brand before and I was a little apprehensive about it. Roku is an ok system . Not great but ok. The tv is worth the money that I paid for it. We had the tv fir a month now. I will update the review in 6 months.

I love the clarity of our TCL tv. The sound quality is great and the fact that the Roku is built in makes it so much easier to operate.
