    Don't buy it - No picture after 13 months

    Initially I was really happy with this TV and the smart feature that it comes with. Unfortunately the TV stopped working just 1 month after the warranty period expired. The problem I have experienced seems to be a known one (when researching in different forums). When turning the TV on there is sound but no picture. After contacting TCL customer support they denied any kind of warranty or goodwill and said that I could get it fixed at a local repair shop. Thanks a lot TCL - This was my last TCL.

    Will never buy another TCL product. Frequent issues with HDR switching on requiring multiple reboots to get the right picture. One morning, it wouldn't turn on and only showed a blinking LED power light. I called TCL support and they told me they only offer limited support for their own products and told me to take it to a local repairman as my only option.

    TCL Roku - very disappointing TV choice

    Several tech phone calls have been made. Twice the technician hung up on me. There is an issue with audio and connecting dell speakers. Last conversation said possible due to recent automatic update but issue still not resolved. I am past the 15 day return, but we purchased in June so not even a month In our possesion. I would return and get something else if possible!

    Bought this for my father on his Birthday in March 2018. He came home the other day to find the screen died. You can hear the channel that is is on, but no image whatsoever. This product had so many good reviews when I bought it, no one had mentioned this problem. My dad is really into movies and he really was enjoying this product, but I cannot believe it did not even last a full two years.

      Sorry you’re not getting the same great picture most users and professional reviewers are getting. You might want to look at your source settings, and as a test try streaming “Peru 8k” on YouTube. It’s one of the best clips I’ve seen to demonstrate the potential of the set.

    Had this tv for less than 60 days before it burnt out a pixel. BEST BUY was ZERO HELP in any way, shape, or form. Not from my warranty information or in the manufacturer's exchange program in store. TCL products are completely low grade. What a disappointment. Spend the extra $ on a Samsung or LG brand.

    Terrible picture. Worse than any cheap TV I have ever seen. So bad we can't even tll what is going on in dark scenes. Even with that, I could live with it. Then one day it started making a high pitched whine and never stopped. My wife doesn't hear it, but it feels like my ears are bleeding.

    When I called and explained the issue with the television(pixels overlapped and blurred parts of TV) I was transferred 3 times and after the 2nd time on hold a young inexperienced women was rude gave me the number for BB HQ and as I was speaking she blatantly hung up the phone on me.     The tv was on sale for a great price. The brand TCL has an electrical burning smell coming from it. I was told to wait a couple hours it may be dust build up. I went to gym came back home and tv still was giving off burning smell so I went and exchanged it for another Samsung that works great.

    I'll let you know when or if we get it working again. We've spent hours on the phone trying to get it to work with TCL and at this point am looking to return this to Best Buy tomorrow. Used it for 3 days and the screen turned pink. Now I can't get it to do anything. Neither can TCL.

    I purchased this TV in September 2018. Today I heard a loud pop sound and the TV went off. I don't think I would be purchasing any TCL products ever again. I'd much rather go for a known brand and pay the extra premium and a longer warranty.
