This TV is nice and bright with a great picture and excellent sound. I feel a little gullible for paying more in the past for name brand TVs when this one is great. I have one small annoyance -- the indicator light on this TV is BRIGHT, and since this TV is in a bedroom, it is distractingly bright when the TV is not on. Don't get it for a bedroom unless you like to sleep with a nightlight.

The 4 series TCL tv with Roku operating system provides an easy avenue for cable cutters. Purchased as a secondary/gaming tv, the value comes from a great picture quality and low latency time. This tv is nearly impossible to beat for the money for this function. The build quality is on par with its price, and it is stable on its feet. If you are considering a TCL tv for your main tv, choose the 6 series. If you are looking for a tv for your kids or a gaming system, the S405 is a great choice and value.

Great built in Roku tv. Remote takes a bit of time to get used to, but works as it should all the same. It's a great beginner tv to get into 4k. Price definitely reflects it, picture takes some fine tuning to get it to look just right. Don't expect it to look as good as an 8 series Samsung because it won't. It's a bedroom tv that doesn't get much use other than when the wife and/or my daughter have commandeered the main tv in the house and I need to get away. Been worth the investment so far.

This makes my second purchase of a TCL brand smart TV. The TCL 2160p has a super clear picture. I love to watch you tube on this tv, and also the Roku channel. The Roku channel is loaded with movies and popular shows to pull up and watch at your convenience. There are more free channels like Crackel, Tubi, and more. I highly recommend this TV. You will not be sorry you purchased it!
