Great quality for even better price

There is no better entry level option than the TCL S405 as of July 2017. The operating system is easy to use and the HDR is noticeably better than standard HD viewing. Only con that I've noticed is the brightness is not as bright as higher end TVs but to me it was not worth spending 2 times the price.

Great TV for price, terrible remote

This is our starter 4K TV and we really enjoy it! We do use a sound bar via optical cable because the TV speakers aren’t great, but expected that from other reviews. The Roku remote is also much worse than previous Roku remotes we’ve had. The buttons are loose and will often double click, which makes searching and typing difficult.

Not bad. Clear picture and fast start. Roku remote takes you tv watching experience to a whole different level. So mamy channels available for free in the roku app. Easy menu access for picture setup, depending on what are you about to watch.

After speaking with the sales rep and him pulling up some reviews and specs for this tv. I felt it was the better deal. This tv is great. The sound is fantastic. I never go past 32. The pictures shows great. I have my firestick connected as well and it is amazing.
