Best bang for the buck
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I actually own 2 of these. We have one in the living room and the other I use as a computer monitor. They both look great. Love the Roku interface. TCL makes a great tv and in my opinion holds it's own against most of the other name brand tv's out there. Especially when you factor in price. Would give it 5 stars if had a couple more hdmi inputs. But I will be getting a switch to address that.

Great picture
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV fits perfectly above my fireplace. The quality of the picture is really nice and sharp. My only complaint is that I have not been able to connect my DVD player but I'm sure Geek Squad will be able to help with the connection. The remote control is easy to use. I love that I can connect my Echo to the TV!

Nice Picture
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really like all the features on this tv. Didn't know too much about this manufacturer so I did some research & reviews seemed positive. Not disappointed with this purchase. A lot of bang for the buck at a good price. Only drawback is the simple remote the tv comes with. Can't change channels on cable so now I have to use two remotes for this tv. Will look into universal remotes.

Outstanding picture and value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV is comparable to my Vizio P series 4K without a doubt. I got the 50 for the bedroom and wish I’d got the 65 as well for the living room. OS is faster than any other I’ve tried. Great overall package and with adjustment of the settings out of the box (google it) it’s was a deal too good to turn down.

5 stars IF*
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.5 stars IF you keep your expectations in check. I see some reviews expecting a 800 dollar TV. It's not that but for the lower end price point at this time you really cant do any better. Decent options, sound, and picture quality. The 180 upscale software does the job pretty well mitigating motion blur.

Great So Far
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the TV so far. Picture is pretty good with 4k content (haven't tested any 4k w/ HDR content). The Roku interface is easy to use. Being a Roku TV gives you access to any streaming service you'd want with apps that will be updated unlike other built in smart TV platforms. The remote is modeled after the Roku, but a bit cheap feeling, especially compared to a standard Roku remote.

Great entry level 4K
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased this when our older Samsung died, and no one had the LEDs for its repair. The 4K was attractive, as was the fact it came ready for Roku and other streaming services. Setup was easy (wired and wireless are both available). Picture and sound quality are great for the price point.

Great TV for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was a gift, so I haven't used it personally, but my parents are very happy with it. The roku operating system is very easy to use and they can watch netflix and other apps. It was very easy to set-up and the tv worked with their existing mount. The TV was very lightweight and easy to install

Awesome tv for the price
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this tv and especially the simple integrated system. The only improvement would be if they used the same remote technology as their Roku stick. The tv remote is line of sight which is annoying but the roku stick remote can be pointed anywhere and it works.

Quality for the Price!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is amazing quality for the price - it is not mind blowing like the big, expensive TVs you see on display and it cannot compete. One trick is to make sure you're using the highest quality source as lower quality sources look really bad on the TV. The other plus is it's a Roku so there's that - although I switch to my AppleTV every time I turn it on...

Great TV!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't believe how lucky I was to get this TV on sale! Best Buy had it on sale at a price lower than even Costco. And the price is only half of the story...This 49" UHD TV has a fantastic picture and in spite of some negative reviews, the speakers are pretty good too. I highly recommend this TV!

No, I would not recommend this to a friendBrand response from TCLExpert
Posted .Hello Smartguy727,
It is disappointing to hear that you are not seeing the same great picture quality that a majority of our customers are seeing. Most of our customers report a great viewing experience, even with cable and over the air channels. The problems that you described are very unusual, and not something that we have heard reports of before. It is a little difficult to quite understand the problems you are seeing. This being said, we would like to gather some more information to see if there is anyway that we can help you. Please reach out to us at [email protected] with your contact information and reference this review, and someone will get back to you right away.
Thank you,
Sara

Not a bad TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was worried about the brand I never heard of. So after doing a bunch of research on a hours time I pulled the trigger on this instead of a Toshiba. It uses the Roku remote which isn't bad after you get use to it. The display is very nice. But if you have a gaming system like an Xbox one S, IT REALLY SHINES.
