Con: The remote. The remote is small, almost too small. Though I will say that the batteries lasted forever and a day before I had to replace them. Honestly, I probably could have just kept spinning them in the housing for another couple of weeks. I wish that the speakers on the TV were a little bit better. Beyond those two issues, I haven't had any problems with the TV save for one. For some reason, the TV was unable to connect to WiFi for a short while, but it was the work of 5 minutes to find a solution online. Hasn't had a hiccup since. Picture quality is great, connecting things to the TV is a snap, the unit itself is lightweight and easy to transport. Very satisfied with it.

Upgraded from a 15 year old TV so the smart capabilities plus the picture quality is amazing. I've only had one software freeze and the Netflix app can be slow to start sometimes but the hardware has been perfect and the software can be sorted with updates.

Great picture love that it is smart gives my ps4 break from being on all day. Only complaint is the remote it is easy to use but small and doesn't have number pad . but other than that great tv.

I was a little nervous changing from the 'traditional' tv where I used Amazon Fire Stick and moving to Roku. It is a little different, and a bit different in moving around and what you see on the tv when you turn it on, but not so much so that I wanted to return it. Super easy to set up, which is good because I'm not a techie person. The only thing I wish was different is the remote - I wish it was a little bigger and the volume/mute control was not on the side of the device - I took off 1 star for that. All in all, I am quite happy with this tv and do not regret changing to this versus Amazon operating system (I can still get Amazon Prime on this tv). Would definitely recommend.

Great quality and sound..Good product for price ..

We have a hole in our living room for a TV! This 49" ROKU TV fits it very nice! The Set was very easy to setup and works like a champ. The wife is very pleased with the wonderful picture! The menu system is well done, you can do things that you would not think you could do, move ICONs for things like Pandora, Amazon, Netflix, etc. The menu items are self explanatory. The only down side is that the screen saver does not tell you where the scenes are if you select the pictures! It does allow you to select how long before the screen saver comes on.

I wish I had purchased this Roku TV much sooner! I have canceled my cable (savings of over $1200 a year)....and purchased a $30 antenna for local news stations! With Roku the viewer options are endless, so I’m not missing cable at all! Other major benefits: Excellent picture, and super easy to set up and operate! I’ve told all of my friends about this product! This is the first review I’ve ever written, but this is the real deal- AWESOME!

I was a little skeptical before purchasing this TV as it was just launched and no one knew much about this company. But after buying this TV I was blown away. Super sharp results and it's really 4K with HDR support. The motion rate is 120 hz which is excellent for this price level. The build is very nice and the silver stands look very classy. Pretty sure the price for this TV will increase in the future as it is really quite a bang for the buck deal. The sound quality is good too. Loved it!

We are very happy with this purchase. This was our first smart tv and it was very easy to setup and start using. The picture quality is very good.

Had never considered TCL in the past but had a good deal on this 49" and decided to take a chance. The tv arrived on time and in perfect condition. Set up was fairly simple and update took less than 20 secs. Picture was quite good for price.

My TCL television is wonderful. I am still learning how to use it b, but I really suggest anyone to look into it. I haven't heard of this tv until I went into the store and a sales associate recommended it to me. I am very glad he did.

My first tv in 15 years. Used to watch Netflix,Hulu, etc on my laptop and tablet but now I watch it on this tv. I forgot how amazing and big TVs were. This tv brand I never heard of but the Best Buy sales person recommended this. The picture is so much better than LG and Sharp in this price range.

I bought this TV kind of out of no-where and I do not regret it one bit. I did follow another user's advice and get the 2 year warranty since this is a TV I am not familiar with. It works great, no lag with my PS4 and works well with my sound bar I bought with it. You can't beat the price especially with a 4k UHD TV and 49in. Oh...and I tried to find a place to beat this deal in order to get a price match...Best Buy was the winner.

My parents needed a new television, and we shopped around and read reviews for awhile until finally selecting this one. They needed a smart tv, not necessarily a 4K tv, but this was perfect. I love that the remote has very few buttons on it, and the volume toggle is on the side instead of the front, so no more forgetting which toggle is volume and which is channel when you're fumbling with the remote in the dark! Easy setup of the smart functions, and the picture quality was really nice for an LED. Great buy.

This was my first TCL Roku tv purchase for my master bedroom. We have had for 2 years and has been a very good tv. We don't have cable so having the built in Roku is critical for using Netflix, Prime and Hulu. Would recommend and think this 4 series is the best bang for buck, I have a 65" 6 series and think this is a better picture, granted my bedroom is darker than the living room where the 65" tv is located.

my first time buying a tcl tv. was nervous but the other reviews were pretty good. just like everybody says, great tv for the price and you also save not having to buy a new roku. gou this one for my room but the 55 is tempting.

Why would you spend over $1000 dollars for a fancy name brand TV, when you could get this and it's just as amazing. I bought this cause I wanted to upgrade my TV and this is honestly amazing. One of the best choices I've made!

I don’t know what to say other than I am incredibly impressed with this TV. Usually when something sounds to good to be true it usually is. This is not the case with this TV. For the price you can not get a better looking TV. Is it the same as a 4 thousand dollar tv? No. But this is easily in the ball park of most 1500 dollar TVs. If you’re worried that the price is going to reflect poor quality, you have to believe me you have nothing to worry about. I would highly recommend this product.

I bought this TV on sale 6 months ago. It was very easy to set up and is easy to use. I use this TV with my cable box and it is easy to switch from one to the other. It works smoothly when I stream. (I updated my cable provider's router and reception is even better!) I think the color and clarity of the picture is great! I purchased an extended 5 year warranty and hope it continues to perform well in the future. This isn't a fancy TV, but I am very satisfied.
