    The best thing about this TV is the sound. I can not disable the HDR have spent all day on the phone with TCL, ROKU, Best Buy with out any luck. The picture is not clear at all. I had the same issue with my Samsung but was able to call them and they told me to disable the HDR. This has cheap HDR built in. My Haeir 1080 HD was fantastic, true color and crisp till it died on my last week after 8 years. I am returning just not sure what to buy. I may just splurge for an OLED.

    Decent for price. Had a a TCL 55” for 3 years exactly and it died, black screen no power. It was a much better TV. Got this smaller 50” one and it’s made much cheaper. Plastic feeling, flimsy plastic border frame around tv, etc... Image is natively darker w less picture control. Sound needs to be cranked much higher.

    Great basic smart tv. I'd wish, it can default to tv. but nowadays every smart tv try's to upsell apps. I got the tv for my older mom that doesn't do well with technology.

    Great TV, excellent clarity, casting is a breeze. 3 star because TV sometimes seems to bog or slowdown when changing service's, sometimes requiring a reboot.

    It's a 4K UHD TV in name only by a Technicality!!

    This TV is "not" a 4K TV in anything other than name, and that's because of a "technicality". I purchased this TV for watching 4K content and to use with my Xbox Series X. This TV doesn't do either in 4K. First, I hooked up my Xbox Series X to it. The Xbox immediately said that this TV is "not" 4K compliant in any way. I tried playing around with various settings, but nothing worked. Next, I hooked up my laptop to it. I found that while it does have a maximum resolution of 3840x2160, it's "only" at 30Hz (actually 29Hz to be specific). The Xbox Series X required a minimum of 60Hz, and it really shines at 120Hz. So, the stated "4K" is too slow to work with the Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5. Moving on, I tried Netflix and Disney+ 4K content. Nope, that was also a no go. It looked like I was watching a standard DVD and not anything in high resolution like 4K. It did say that HDR was active in 4K content, but that didn't do anything other than change the brightness of what I'm watching. And before anyone asks, I have a download rate of 500mb, it's hardwired to a Netgear Enterprise managed switch (I'm in IT as a day job), and that goes straight to the modem. So my speed and connection is entirely well over what is needed to watch 4K. I would have returned this TV to BestBuy, but I missed the 14-return window by 1 day once I finished all my testing, searched the internet, and tried every trick I knew and to no avail. Other than having the 3840x2160 pixel density size, this doesn't actually do "anything" in 4K, it's too slow. It's only 4K in name by a technicality and not because it actually shows anything in 4K. I gave it a poor rating because it's not actually a "4K UHD TV" if it doesn't "show" anything in 4K UHD *Sigh* (:( )

    Excellent TV so far, just what we needed for my son's bedroom, god price on sale before the holidays, he likes the Roku interface, working well so far, mounted on wall by Best Buy Geek Squad as well.

    I’ve gotten three 65 in TCL from you guys, I love it very much, one was a gift for my daughter, she also loves it , she had it mounted on her living room wall. I also gave her one of the Vizio Surround sounds I brought.

    I think it's a great TV! Only thing that bothers me is the black/contrast is too dark for me :( I haven't really tried to adjust the settings yet, tho. The Roku is great too!

    As smart TV's go, I think Roku's interface is the best and quickest to scroll through. Roku has more apps and channels than any smart TV/box. We use this in our garage when working out.

    Great tv, my 3rd TCL, first 2 still work great, one 7 yrs old and one 4 yrs old. Feature packed best buy for the money. Roku operating system easy to use. The one time I had to call TCL, they were great to deal with. ( Was a cable issue ).

    Excellent value. We love the built in Roku interface, since we have used it for years. It also allows for only one power cord, which gives a neat installation. we have bought two 50", and one 65".

    So far so good.I mean already had a TCL TV once before. But it was only a 35 inch TV. And it lasted a pretty good while so. Hopefully this TV does the same and work great for me for years as well.

    This tv has really good picture if you are looking at straight on but from the side it is terrible. Also had to order a 2nd remote and it only works a little better than the 1st.
