It's a very good tv. Great picture and price. A lot of available apps one can download. The only negative I can think of is the slow interface. It's a slight delay when you're trying to use the remote to navigate. So that can be very annoying if you're used to the much faster roku interface. Other than that, it's worth the money.

Wow. Amazing picture quality at an affordable price. I was not sure about the brand as I never had TLC before, but I can say it has surpassed my expectations. Hopefully is reliable and lasts many years as the Tv that is replacing. Android TV is more powerful than other OS, but it is slow sometimes s and need some restart as many apps remain in memory. Hopefully, it gets better with updates from Google or the manufacturer.

I bought this for a replacement in my bedroom. This TV was an excellent value. I was pleased with the smart TV feature that included some of the streaming services. The volume is not well regulated. The speakers have decent sound. The picture has to be adjusted for sharpness and color. Overall pleased with the purchase. It was easy to set up.

I'm not too happy with the remote that came with it, no instructions, so you have to literally play with it to understand the functions, and how it works by trial and error; it doesn't have a "previous channel" function to go back and forth between channels, there are "no numbers," so you can't just go straight to a desired channel, you have to scroll up or down to navigate to your desired channel, and in order to set the "TV off" timer I had to literally figure it out on my own; the remote needs a guide of its own....

The best purchase ever I so happy whit the TV is excellent

Bought this in October 2020 for use in a bedroom. I had been eyeing TCL for a few years due to the reviews and finally had the need for a smaller secondary TV. The set up was very easy and the picture quality is excellent. I also bought it at a good price (although it did drop another $50 shortly after the return/price guarantee expired...doh!) As the reviews have always indicated, this is a really good TV for the price. My only complaints involves the remote and the menu interface. The remote is a little on the small side and the buttons are too close together for my hands. The menu interface could also be improved in my opinion. I do like that there are dedicated buttons for Netflix and You Tube. These get the most use but I also use it occasionally to watch local TV via an antenna. Jumping around between channels is a bit clunky but it's not a huge deal. When powered down, the light remains on fairly bright making you think it's still on. Again, not a big deal and maybe I missed a setting. For a 50" TV under $300 you cannot go wrong with TCL. You likely will not find one from other big names at this price point for this quality.

Very pleased with this t.v. overall. Nice picture and great sound from the built in speakers. Easy to attach the wall mount frame (purchased separately), or included stand. Simple remote and instructions booklet - although the remote is a bit flimsy and battery cover is difficult to remove. Main complaint is design flaw - they should've placed the USB, HDMI and other ports closer to the side of t.v so they are accessible when t.v. is wall mounted. We are not able to access the ports unless we take the t.v. off the wall, which is a pain to do given the size. We've left some plugs hanging from the back for future use, to avoid having to take down the t.v., however, this t.v. appears incompatible w/ our new Lenovo laptop - it will not detect the signal from the computer and no one from TCL nor from Lenovo has yet resolved the issue. They also should have placed controls on the side or bottom of t.v. (i.e. power on/off, volume, settings...) in case remote "disappears" or is not working well. Our old t.v. had options directly on the t.v. too - so careful not to displace the remote or you can't use this t..v.

It is a good TV, actually outstanding for the price. I definitely do recommend it. What I like the most is that it has a ton of apps already pre installed as well as Google Chromecast pre installed. I also like that Best Buy is really great with their Pick Up Curbside option. You give them a specific time and you let them know that you are there and within 5 mins your purchase is on the way to your car.

Clear picture. Connects to WiFi. Built in apps. Good tv! Good value for the money.

Great picture great Sound. Love it in the bedroom because it doesn't have a heavy bass sound. I had it setup on the wall and it took about (15) minutes to replace everything. Finding how to setup the tv wasn't a big deal because it sets it self up, that's awesome for me, All I had to do was wait. The fire stick and DVD was hooked up to the TV too because it was easy to find the connectors. Love this TV!

Nice picture and sound. It was a bit slow at times but since we've changed internet providers this has improved quite a bit. I only had experience with firesticks but this tv was easy to set up and use. It sometimes dims the picture but that may be an app related error. I purchased this on sale and we're happy with it. BTW, this tv box will fit in the backseat of a '16 Altima.

I actually love this Television. I was skeptical about purchasing this brand a few years ago being I only purchase the more common brands such as Phillips, Sony etc. I was absolutely amazed with TLC and now I own 4 in my home all over 50 inches. I highly recommend this television to purchase. The Quality is great but the price is better! Not even to mention I believe it was the first ROKU T.V.

Great TV, great picture, the price was right. But there was no owners manual and there was no manual on the website for my model come on guys get with it. I know it cost's money to print a manual but don't have one on the website that I can print for my self, Its a good thing I have a 9 year old grandson to figure it out how to work the remote. For that I can only give 4 stars.

I love this tv. Android TV is so much better than Roku TV which is what tcls normally come with. The added feature of the Chromecast because of Android TV just makes this tv a great choice. The picture quality is amazing for this price point and it came with all the cables that I needed tohook this up to my sound system. Overall, great purchase and definitely worth it for the price.
