This exceeds my expectations in every scenario great quality picture and a good OS I had never tried android tv's and once you've done so it's really hard to go back to a tv without. Obviously this is not an OLED and it shows in the price it's literally 1500 less then the cheapest OLED's around, For the price and size you get way more than what your paying for.

I was able to pick this up at a great price during Best Buy's prime deals. I went with TCL because I also have the Roku version of this TV. I actually prefer the Android TV version, it literally took about 15 seconds to connect to my wifi by simply pairing it with my google account via my cell phone. I was also able to dial in a better picture on this set vs the Roku version.

I’m quite happy with this television! The picture is fantastic, and the setup was simple. I know it’s not a well known brand, and I expected a slightly downgraded viewing experience as I was replacing it with a much higher priced television (which unexpectedly died without notice) but I was happy to see that this TCL was as crisp and clear as the Samsung it replaced!

Remote leaves much to be desired as it has few buttons and you have to go through to many menus to make changes whereas the Roku version is not like this. Picture quality is good, sounds good (needs a little more bass) and has a lot of features, but the manual tells you very little. I would’ve bought the Roku version if I knew.

This was the season to upsize my TV. More time solo quarantining this holiday season. Bigger, smarter TV makes life a little better. Black Friday makes the price right.Easy to set up. Lots more viewing options. I'm now bringing 'Homeland.' I'm learning to use Google Assistant. No name Chinese TCL has produced a good product. Four weeks in, I recommend it.

Great buy for a great price. I bought 2 of these TVs for my kids rooms. It comes pre installed with certain apps like Netflix, Hulu and other streaming services, which is exactly what I wanted. The smart TVs eliminates the extra devices like Apple TV or Roku so you won’t have to keep track of several different remotes.

I bought this 50" Android 4K HDTV on a sale recently for $230. I don't know if that's a good deal, but it is a HUGE upgrade to the smaller non-HD tv that I replaced it with that was about the same price 5 years ago. The picture looks great with crisp colors and adequate brightness and contrast. The sound is robust in a smallish bedroom. Honestly, the 50" tv is probably a little too big for the room, but it was the same price as a 43" TCL Roku TV. If you've used a TCL Roku HDTV, you will notice a few differences. I don't prefer the dashboard interface or remote, maybe because I'm used to TCL Roku TV. However! ... The big benefit to this Android TV over a Roku TV is that you can stream HBO Max! HBO Max is not currently available to stream on Roku devices or Amazon devices.

I was a little worried about not buying LG or Samsung. I use this TV for a computer monitor and it works great...the only thing I'm upset about is I should have bought 2 for the 229.00 price..I'm waiting for them to mark them down again. I use 2 27" iMacs for trading and this TV is actually easier on your eyes when watching charts all day.

I am stunned at the quality of this TV v. the price. The picture and sound on on par with my Samsung 4K QLED and a way cheaper price. I returned a LG because it did not support HBOMax and replaced it with this TCL. I am so happy I did. Super easy set up and supports all apps, or at least I haven't found any that it doesn't. Highly recommend.

Very good TV. Why pay double or triple for something because of the name? There is ZERO reason to pay double the price for a name stuck on the TV somewhere. Many people worry too much about "keeping up with the Jones's" instead of quality and price positioning on a product. They would rather have a name instead of a product that is quality. TCL is easily outclassing other budget TV's in all areas. I have had it a few weeks and the color is outstanding. Android operating system is easy to navigate and the screens for Home and Apps are easy to configure. Synced with my google account quickly over Wi-Fi and migrated my information from my account. It is quick over wi-fi so I can't imagine how quick it is over LAN. I can even set it up with Amazon Alexa if I want. The sound is very good and in the room it is in, I don't have to worry about hooking to speakers. The processor is quick and it changes screens and performs actions with good speed. The voice remote is pretty good after you pair it with the TV. I am about to mount it on the wall with a Full-Motion Wall Mount, and the only drawback is it has only one VESA configuration. You have to be careful about the Wall Mount.

Very easy to set up. Took about 10 to 20 minutes to do log ins to my subscriptions. Love the picture and sound. The remote was the only problem. Case was extremely hard to open to load batteries, hence only 4 stars. Was glued in the wrong spot. Other than that, a great purchase! Recommending to friends and family.

Great tv for the price. I see a lot of tv reviews by various sites stating how they don't like the Android Tv operating system, but I have to say I enjoy it. I have a few roku tvs as well, but I have enjoyed the Android too. Picture brightness and quality is exceptional for a $229 cost that I bought it at. A total steal at that price.
