    Picture on website not accurate!!

    The product pictures on this website are not accurate. This website shows a TCL TV with a modular power cord (meaning you can disconnect the power cord from the TV) which is not the case. The power cord is hardwired directly into the TV which means you cannot replace the cord or remove the cord from the TV. This also means if your power outlet is not on the wall where you are mounting the TV you are going to need an extension cord and a second person to run the cord while one person holds the TV and mounts it. I bought this with the specific understanding this has a modular power cord (as depicted on Best Buy's website.)

    Poor performance, totally a lemon

    This version of the TCL tv is below average. This is my second TCL Roku TV, earlier one was a 55 inch, which is still working really well. But looks like this one was a lemon. Way too slow to switch on, too slow to change channels, too much buffering, the list goes on and on. Bestbuy team - What can we do to fix this? Replacement or switching to another 55 inch? I have already discarded the box.

    Black spots all over it

    Bought this in a black Friday deal. After assembling the legs and turning it on, I saw black spots all over it (see the pictures). Now I have to return this big tv to a store. Waste of time and very disappointing. Time is money. I lost money on this purchase.

    Not worth the cheap price

    Bought this tv Nov of 2020. At first i was impressed with the features for the price. Being a smart tv and 4k for under $500 seemed like a steal. It’s now sept of 2021 not even a year later and the tv no longer connects to the internet. It will connect to my wifi and Ethernet but will state there in no internet.

    Misleading physical dimensions

    This TV’s physical dimensions say it is 8.3 inches in depth but they are actually 11.8. This is wrong and needs to be updated. I bought the TV because those are the dimensions I need. It came and clearly says 11.8 on the box, and I’m pulling out the stands and they don’t fit where I need them. The description is completely wrong and makes a difference on whether this will fit on your stand.

    You get what you pay for.. tv stopped streaming YouTube , Netflix etc.. have to unplug it and plug back in to work and nothing is wrong with internet connection .. my Lg in my living room never have a problem.. will return

    I attempted to install this tv today only to notice that the screen has no display. It appears to be damaged internally. I’d like to know what steps to take to have it exchanged.

    Very poor quality, not sure what happened but one day I tour Ed it on and it had this line with a darker shade under it. Very annoying ! TRASH !

    I have no problem with the TV, its quality, the picture or the ease of setting up. My biggest issue is that Android TV (Google) is just okay. I naively believed it would be able to do simple web searches. No. You cannot install Google either. Maybe for security reasons, you cannot install common apps. For example: We watch movies and sometimes we want to know more about an actor. No, IMDB's app cannot be installed. I will likely set up an older computer with it to get more functional use out of it. The remote seeks to be small and useful, but it and adding apps that you may install are a bit cryptic. To pause a movie, it is the OK button. It entails a bit of up and down arrows to hope that you have highlighted an icon. I would still buy this TV again.

    The quality of the TCL is better than what the feedback shared is. I still don't use half of the features or apps that is on there. This was a great buy, bluetooth and all the other features makes it great value for the money.

    The value, first and foremost for this television is very, very high, especially if you were one of the people that bought this on special. Picture quality is great, it has an adequate number of inputs and is easy to use. We're using these televisions in a church setting to provide a video feed to our nursery and parent rooms. The only drawback is that if you've used TCL TVs in the past and saw that they're smart TVs you may have made an incorrect assumption yours came with Roku. These do not. They use an Android platform exclusively, so many apps you expect on a Smart TV are not available. Just be aware. If you're looking for a good TV at a good value, go for it. Just know TCL has made some app changes.

    Great TV for the price. Three years in and still going strong. I'd recommend a sound bar like most new tvs these days. Otherwise, pretty simple settings for easy use. Excuse the window glare.

    This television has a great picture and sound. It has a tremendous amount of channels and it is really easy to get to them. I mounted the television on a wall bracket that was originally designed for a much larger television. However with a little adapting it fit perfectly. It is very light and modern and does just what I need it to do. The only problem with it is possibly the remote. You need to push 3 buttons in order to get it to pause on some channels. There is no mute button and thus I have to lower and raise the volume as needed. It's quick but not as quick as a mute button. It does have two buttons that take me directly to Netflix or You Tube, the two channels I watch the most. They made it so easy! The only other problem is how small the remote is. It seems to be about 6 1/2 inches by 1 1/4 inches. Thus I lose it constantly and it is so sensitive. Just looking at seems to change the channel sometimes. I have the cable box, a blue ray player and a PC attached to it and all 3 look great and sound great. It replaced my 55 inch 1080 Samsung which went to a grandson's room. It was easy to order and the price was perfect. I picked it up first thing in the morning (9 AM) and had it going before Noon. They said to allow 3 minutes to bring it out after you call them letting you know they are there. The guy was out there in less than 2 minutes, loaded it for me as each of us followed the Covid guidelines. It was one of my best purchasing experiences ever. Keep up the good work.

    So far, everything is great. Great color, good sound without external speakers. Easy to use. Only drawback is the lack of a comprehensive paper manual. I know I can get a manual on line but for those of us thgvat would rather just have an easy to access paper manual, well, it would just be easier. Also missing actual controls physically on the TV. A real pain if you can't find the remote. For the much lower price tag, all in all, a great purchase.

    Excellent for the price average for a 4K TV(which isn’t really a bad thing, just know it’s not the QLED, OLED, and can only do 60fps (you gamers know). I originally bought the Roku version which has an outdated UI, missing apps, and I’ve been steadily losing interest in Roku so I wanted this Android TV version for the better experience and it hasn’t let me down. Overall better UI, remote, stability, and more apps like HBO Max and Neverthink. The Roku version now sits in the kids room.
