I bought three of these TCL TVs. One for a spare bedroom and two for the grandkids for Christmas. Picture is excellent and lots of apps. Easy to add them as well You cannot beat the price for a full feature 4K UHD 50” tv.

The TV was easy to install on a wall mount, and has nice picture and sound quality. I’m disappointed in the remote control device, which lacks basic items found on most other products, like a number pad. I’m also not a fan of the TV listening/collecting data to improve service or offerings (explained on-screen during setup). I avoid that by not connecting it to my home network. I just need a TV, not another connected device.

We purchased this TV for my son's college apartment. It looks great and the sound wasn't bad either. We connected a sound bar that we had, but the sound from the TV was almost as loud and just as clear. The only downside is that the speakers on the TV fire backwards towards the wall which muffles it some. You should be able to hear it very well with or without adding a sound bar. The smart TV functions especially the voice remote work very well. If you aren't mounting it to a wall, be aware that the legs are very far a part on the edges. We had to purchase a separate stand for it because the table it was going on wasn't wide enough. It is much nicer than the 32" that we replaced and the value for the price was amazing.

For a no name brand and considering the price was on sale when purchased. This tv exceeded my expectations coming from a Samsung 4k UHD and a LG with same specs. This no namer equipped with Dolby audio and 4K UHD is a great entry level tv for the price. Very pleased and have recommended to a friend. Thumbs up! Only reason not a 5 star rating cause it's not a perfect tv. Other than that great for what it is.

Great picture. Amazing sound. Customizable. Really simple to understand and use. Only thing I would say. The remote should have a mute button. Outside of that everything else is amazing!

Especially for the price this TV is an excellent value. Sizable screen makes for easy viewing anywhere in a decent room, and the sound is crisp, clear and strong enough to not require a separate sound system. Also, the Android operating system is helpful rather than intrusive, making for a number of options for viewing without needing cable or an antenna. My ONLY quibble is the remote is a little too simplified, making searching for apps or logging into apps a bit more arduous than normal, but for day-to-day it's more than workable.

I have some other TCL televisions that use Roku. TCL has always seemed to deliver incredible value and performance that delivers well beyond other brands at similar price points. When I needed a set for my daughter's room, I thought I would give the Android TV version a try as she likes to Cast content from her phone. What I discovered is that this set is SO MUCH more powerful than just casting. The Google voice integration is a really cool way to control our lighting and other smart home devices from the remote control.

I got this TV for my room and it's fantastic for watching movies/shows and especially for gaming. The quality is good... obviously not as good when compared to TVs from LG or Samsung, but for a budget 4k TV, I can't recommend it enough. The Android TV software is surprisingly smooth and really easy to operate, and I have no complaints so far. The Google Assistant is amazing, and is far better at recognizing my words and commands. In all, this is a great budget 4k TV for those who want an easy experience with good quality.

Has a good quality picture. Menus are understandable and fairly easy to use. Good viewing angle and color. Android apps seem responsive and work well. Cons: Remote has no mute button. Who makes a remote without mute? Also no play/stop/rewind/ff buttons to control a Blu Ray player or video playing in Android apps. You have to use a pop up status bar just to pause a video. Inputs are so close to the center they will end up behind the mounting bar of a wall mount. Despite these shortcomings, it is still a great value compared to the alternatives.

We needed an inexpensive HDTV for use in our exercise room. The TCL fit the bill on price. After installation and use it has also proven to have excellent image and sound. The Android TV is simple to use. You can't compare this to a higher level/price unit but this TCL has exceeded our expectations.

I had some trepidation about buying this TV. I had just bought a LG OLED so I was looking for something inexpensive to replace the other "dumb" plasma TV we had. I was unsure if a "cheap Chinese TV" would perform well and last. But I read the reviews and took advantage of a ridiculously low price and bought it. I haven't had it long enough to comment on the longevity but the picture quality is fine and very easy to use. One thing that caught me off guard was that Youtube TV is incompatible with the Android OS. I purchased a Roku streaming stick and problem solved.

I replaced my 10-year-old TV with this model. It is much lighter, cheaper, and uses less power. The "smart" features support all of the streaming apps I use plus I can cast from my Android phone. The remote is easy enough to use but not my favorite: the power button is poorly located; the voice commands do not seem as intuitive as with the Amazon Firestick; and the buttons not being backlit means you cannot make them out if you are watching TV in the dark. I am no expert on screen and speaker quality, but I think it looks and sound great.

What can I say? Bought it as Christmas gift for my freshly moved out son. I purchased it with an extended Black Friday sale. Paid it less than $ 300 and got the more than decent quality of this brand. Obviously I never expect to compare it with my other Qled Samsung or LG but for this price is more than excellent, considering also that it comes with Android and syncs with everything when you set up with your account. It is perfect for dorms or vacation houses.

Never had a TCL before but this TV has been a great bargain so far. Android TV is proving to be a great interface for all of my apps and for casting things straight from my phone. It was easy to setup out of the box and adding apps from my phone has been painless so far I also have it hooked up to my Switch and it looks great for gaming. Very happy with this TV and I'm now curious about their higher end TVs for my man cave.

We bought this for an inexpensive outdoor TV and it has been good so far. I was disappointed to learn it didn't have Roku on it when we got it home, as the smaller 43" TV from the same brand sitting right next to it did, as did the 55", and so it was confusing that two had it and one didn't. The smart TV apps that come with the TV are relatively limited, so keep that in mind - the major ones are there but you can't add too many beyond what is already installed. However, I bought a Roku stick and fixed that, but now have to deal with two remotes. If you are buying for Roku, I recommend one of the other TCL TVs that have that.
