    After 14 months the TV went black the second one I bought if I would have known that at Best Buy would have told customers I wouldn't have this problem right now I'm sure TCL new I'll never buy a TV from Best Buy ever again or TLC I'll go somewhere else

    Veyr good and basic solution for those who are looking for a cheap smart tv that is powered by GoogleTv (not to be confused with AndroidTV - this ChromeOS based solution), The TV supports any smart tv need you want. Native streaming apps for all services and plenty of additional apps via an app store. Quality wise, it is not a match to my other TV set which is OLED that costs x5 but bang for buck this one wins.

    It’s a good tv, I mean it has everything you could possibly need on a TV from movies, shows, cable, voice command, all that. I do have dislikes about it though.. sometimes it’ll glitch or go slow on the main menu, voice command doesn’t always go through, the sound isn’t the best but tv sound is trash anyways, other than that it’s good. I recommend messing with the settings to see what kind you like best for quality picture my favorite is movie. mode

    Bought this 50" TCL tv and within 2 years tv gave out. Screen just went black. Does not have a reset button so have to get rid of it. Waste of money! Was over 1 yr manufacture warranty. Seen many reviews of this same model tv having this issue and nothing being done because only a 1 yr Warranty. Will never purchase a TCL again. Meanwhile my Samsung TV is going strong for 15+ years.
